For Ambassadeur fans
Are Ambassadeurs good for throwing heavier baits, or are they just a nice round reel that is used like most low profile reels? I want to target Pike a bit this year and am not sure about using an energy PT for it.

Storing Fishing Gear in a Car?
I keep all of my stuff at home in the basement where the temperature fluctuates the least (at least in my house) and remove it if I know that there is a chance at being able to fish.

Everyone's PB
A 3 pounder, sad to say. I wish it were higher and it will definitely be surpassed by a pound or two this year, because I learned of a few new spots.

Does anyone know how much the TW Rod Quivers typically cost? They're $38 right now and I've looked at them in the past.

Dream Fish
Check out Palomino Trout! My goal is to catch one, but I missed my chance in not fishing the right place a long time ago.

I'm hurt, really hurt.
Last summer, I experienced this and didn't even get to see the fish, which I don't know if that's better or worse. I was on vacation, fishing a senko on the Delaware, and hooked into something huge. I couldn't even turn my reel. I fought it for about 20 seconds before it broke me off.

Chronarch MGL vs Daiwa Zillion SV TWS
Having read several other forums on the topic, everyone is going to say the St Croix Avid or the Avid X over the E6X.

Dream Fish
Jeremy Wade has effectively caught many of the keystone predators that inhabit non- North American waters. However, he still has yet to target Mangar!

Dream Fish
You ever heard of a Taimen? They are true beauties to catch on a fly rod. Yeah, I've found that, besides a remote few, most of my bucketlist fish can be caught in the states or canada which is really nice because travelling over the ocean is way too expensive for one fish.

You should check out Beluga Sturgeon, if their populations ever recover.

Dream Fish
Today, I was editing my gigantic fish list (List of my pb for every species I've caught, and a list of every fish I want to catch in the future, including length/weight and location) (Will share a photo if someone wants to see some good ideas) and was wondering if anyone else has a dream fish they would like to catch? Although nearly impossible, I would love to complete my checklist, although if I had to pick, it would either be a 20 ft. Sawfish (although it is illegal to target them) or a 2.5 ft. Golden Dorado.

Yeah, you have to careful with a lot of the things you buy at walmart, make sure you give them a good lookover, as someone I know use to take one senko from each bag they had and put it into a YUM Dinger bag, with the Dingers. Checkout just looked at it, said "Eh," and sold it to him. Always count the amount you have per bag.

Which is more important? The rod or reel?
Rod for bottom contact or baits that aren't always moving, reel for moving baits and top water because you get long casts

Strange things that have happened while bass fishing.
My first ever fish on a fly rod got ripped off of the hook by 5 pound largemouth One time, I was in Chippewa Falls sitting in the cabin we were staying in and saw a big bald eagle swoop down and grab a fish. It started to fly up and was immediately dragged back down into the water. It must have grabbed onto a giant pike, because for the next few minutes, it couldn't get off the water surface until it went around the corner nod dragged whatever it was into the reeds on shore.

When you put in L-B-F without the dots it shows up as "another site." Is it uppercase or lowercase?

Jigginpuss (not what you think)
I like Iaconelli, he's really funny and entertaining, but whenever I see a dead octopus, I will admit I am saddened. They are INSANELY smart! At the zoo I volunteer at, I frequently get to work with the Giant Pacific Octopus and she is essentially an underwater puppy. She's super playful and loves being splashed. RIP that Lingcod's food though.

Nothing good at my walmart. Turns out all they sell hooks-wise are eagle claw hooks and some offbrand worm hooks that I bent out with ease.

Favorite Bladed swim jig and trailer and why
Z-Man original with a Havoc swimbait is the one I use most, although when I used to get MTB, I recieved a Buddha Baits chatterbait and it looked really good in the water. Only things is, on probably the fifth cast with the Buddha, I stopped feeling resistance and when I pulled it out of the water, all that was left was the blade.
