Finger issues after Fishing
could be simple changes related to arthritis but sounds like more of a tendinitis issue. Could talk with md about using anti-inflammatory mess or injecting the extensor muscles. Either should result in significant improvement within 48 hrs

How big is your tackle bag?
Currently using soft bag from Academy holds 5 Plano 3600 boxes one for spinner/buzz baits, 2 for crankbaits, 1 for crawls/lizards/frogs and the last for jigs. 2 side pockets carry plastic worms, tube baits, flukes etc and also has storage sleeve for pliers. Definitely more tackle than I can use on any given trip but makes me feel better so it works for me. Remainder of tackle stored in extra Plano 3600's and changed out as situation dictates

Spiderwire EZ Braid
Have used spider wire ultra cast for years with great results in fact my only source of frustration was how difficult it could be to pull snagged lures free from unseen underwater obstructions, usually was able to move boat without breaking the line necessitating cutting off the line rather than risking a broken or damaged rod. However about two weeks ago I was at local wal mart and needed some new braid so I picked up a couple of rolls of 20# Ez braid to try. What a disappointment this turned out to be in three trips I have experience 4 line failures during long casts and lost two really nice fish n jumps with 5' of boat. All told this has cost me about $32.00 in line since the remainder will be going in the garbage can and $45 in lost lures and tackle. Not sure what others experience has been but would strongly advise you to steer clear of this product

The Found Lures Thread
Lady Luck smiled on me this weekend had a nice bass hit my KVD frog and pull into some really thick milfoil and lily pads. Struggled to turn the fish and frog was thrown on its first jump into some brush. 10 min later and many thanks to some 20# braided line I was able to break a limb free so I could retrieve my frog. Much to my surprise I was also able to retrieve a nice chartreuse colored terminator Spinnerbait and couple of Norman little N's. All in all not a bad day in east Tx.

Tackle ID
Seem to recall my grandfather having something similar that he used in the late seventies (1978/1979) for pan fishing. Sorry couldn't be of more assistance.

Who has the best Buzz bait???
Prefer to use SK. Just catch more fish with this book zzz bait than others ans very durable as well

What gear ratio do u throw your SB and Med diving CB with?
I use reels with two different gear rations 5.4:1 and 6.4:1. The slower retrieve ratio is very useful when trying to keep lures in strike zone just a little longer and when fish activity slows down

Parallel or Perpendicular?
My personal experience has shown that the best approach can vary greatly depending upon general mood of the fish, water temperature/conditions, and skies clear vs overcast, etc

Abu Garcia Max Winch?
Purchased one of the Max winch reels off of eBay (new in package) and was totally disappointed. Reel was fairly smooth especially give the fact it only had 5 bearings but could not get it to cast more than 30 yds for anything.

Fishing post wisdom tooth removal, what's your craziest story?
Been years ago but I too went fishing after having wisdom teeth removed. Did well until about last hour of that tournament but able to tough it out and won 2nd place overall as well as big bass that day. Nice paycheck as I recall

Bass Jig Storage?
Used to store mine in bps binder as you are describing. Did that for about 5 yrs. no issues as long as they are dry first

Where to fish when it's freezing.
Fortunately, we have two different power plant lakes within one hour drive from my home in Mt Pleasant, TX. Water temps there rarely drop below 70 degrees. Still have to try and keep ice out of the line guide eyes but fishing is great

Possible rod switch
No I think Falcon has always made a quality product and still does but feel there are some newer companies that offer comparable products at a significant savings

Possible rod switch
To begin with I am a long time Falcon fishing rod fan. Now I have owned others from Loomis, St Croix, Berkeley, and Abu Garcia but I have always ended up selling or trading them to others for Falcon replacements. i still love my Falcons but when looking at other rod manufacturers it appears that they are not really keeping up with other rod manufacturers in terms of technology and value for my buck. Do others share this idea?

Cleaning rods? Waxing rods?
Had not thought about using the majic eraser for cork handles but will give it a try. I have always just used baby wipes and found them to do a good job for this. I use q tips to check eyes and wipe rods done with simple green then follow up with light coat of meguiars quick detailer
