  1. I use 20 or 30. Both are super thin comparatively so whatever you like go with it.
  2. This. If it starts making any noise it is the brakes. Just oil the drum very lightly and keep fishing. Great reel, but many of the shimano as get noisy brakes from time to time.
  3. I have no background with that rod, but I wouldn't hesitate to get a 6'6". I am 6'3" and my preference is a 6'6" rod. I don't like anything over 7 foot. Throw what makes sense to you. I love the g loomis IMX series and I have heard great things about the E6x. I also love the g loomis jerkbaits series and it is only 6'3".
  4. Wow, that is a great reel for the money. Anyone in the market for a reel should consider the curado 200i. I have 4 of them and am very pleased.
  5. I have 4 pair of costas with different lens options. I love them and am impressed with the clarity and the durability. They don't scratch like the Oakleys I used to wear.
  6. 130 is a great size. There are lots of good colors. I have had lots of success with loon.

I use rippin mono as that is what I typically use on my spinner bait rod and that is what I use for chatter baits.
  8. I have a collection of costas. Love them and converted from Oakley. I have tuna alleys in blue and salt break in silver and copper. All 580 in glass. Amazing glasses and very resistant to scratches.
  9. Why wouldn't you get another IMX? I have several IMX and they are great rods. I am sure NRX is better, but is it worth the extra money? IMX have several options.
  10. Rippin has been really good so far. In mono I really like it, but I use 10# invisx on my cranking setup.

I just got the cabelas bag and I love it. Had a Plano bag before, but like the Cabelas series a lot. Here is what I have. I got the magnum size. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-Advanced-Anglers-Tackle-Bags-without-Utility-Boxes/1391169.uts?productVariantId=3225236&WT.tsrc=PPC&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=03491203&rid=20&gclid=CJaT1Na8pdICFYNXfgodXeYEvw&gclsrc=aw.ds
  12. Curado 70 is really nice. I like it better than the curado 200 and chronarch 150 although they are all nice. No experience with abu, but can't go wrong with shimano.
  13. Mega bass vision 110 go pro blue or pro blue 2. It is my go to color and always performs.
  14. G loomis IMX. I have more than I care to admit. They are super nice and you can usually find them in that price range if you look around.
  15. Yamamotos are just better. I will spring a few extra bucks for the good stuff. Fishing time is limited. Make the most of it.
  16. I use a 6 foot 6 medium heavy G loomis IMX MBR. I frequently fish docks and like the shorter pole. This is a nice jig rod paired with a curado 70. I tried to switch to a 7 foot, but just didn't like it as well.
  17. These are great reels. I have several and you will be very pleased.
  18. I love the new rippin mono from Seagaur. What a great line. I use both mono and floor depending on the rod and application.
  19. If I needed one line I would use Seagaur invisx at 15lb or the new rippin in 15lb for mono. Both are great setups and will work for most applications.
  20. I just tried my new 70 out yesterday. What a great reel. I must say it was noticeably smaller than the 200i. I am impressed so far.
  21. Curado 200i and the gloomis jerkbaits series(nice and short at 6'3"). I match that with 10lb Seagaur invisx. I love this setup and use this in the spring a ton with a vision 110.
  22. I got to use this today my new favorite mono. Great stufff!
  23. Curado 70 would be awesome with this rod.
