Daiwa Tatula spinning reels?
Now Daiwa is kicking shimano butt, but the latest ci4+ is impressive I wouldn't look past it. I'm a big fan of Daiwa as a whole, I own 7 rods and 2 baitcaster currently. I'm really looking forward to the LT reel though

Shimano baitcaster, which do you perfer?
I was leaning towards the aldebaran but from what I was reading chucking 1/2oz square bills may kill it pretty quick.

Shimano baitcaster, which do you perfer?
I am looking at getting a Shimano baitcaster and I want to know which do you prefer. It will be used mainly for square bills and vibrating jigs. I'm really looking to compare these 4 Aldebaran Antares Chronarch Metanium Thanks for all your input

The ultimate best combos for the following techniques
One word explains it all:PREFERENCE. My finesse spinning reels need smooth drag, quick line pick up and paddle handle. Baitcaster reels are a bit different due to techniques. Lower gear ratios(under 6:4:1) are best suited for deep crankbaits. Also lower gear ratios have more power or torque. Mid gear ratio (6:4:1-7:0:1) are most common and can be used for almost anything Burner gear ratio(7:0:1 and up) are best used in any technique where you need to pick up line quickly. Frogs and jigs quickly come to mind. Rods: Most of my rods are Daiwa. I own 7 of them. My second favorite would be Phenix I own 2 of them I have owned: st.croix, g Loomis, Abu Garcia, and other brands. I can say comfortably that I feel Daiwa makes some of the best rods out there and they cover all tapers and actions for every technique.

Daiwa Tatula spinning reels?
End of February I will be buying either the 2500 tatula or 2500xh ballistic. The weight, smoothness and d**n near 22lb of drag which is almost if not smoother then my stradic. It will pair nicely with my AGS tatula rod

Tatula Elite Series Rods
I have both an AGS and a plain 6'9 jerkbait rod and the 7'6 neko/hairjig They are both amazing. The AGS guides are worth the extra coin. They are so rigid and you can feel EVERYTHING I'm slowly transferring all my rods to these, with the exception of my M1 drop shot rod.i feel it is better the the 7'ml Myers rod. I just wish there was more talk about the new LT series reels on here.

Anyone try a ballistic LT yet?
I was wondering if anyone has a. Ballistic LT 2500xh series. I have a 2017 shimano ci4+ on my drop shot road and I love that thing, but I just picked up a tatula AGS fieder neko rig rod and I'm on the fence what to pair on her. So if anyone can compare the important parts I would appreciate the help How is the drag? Balance and smoothness of retrive Casting? Durability?

Tatula ags thoughts
I want to make it my prime neko rod. Right now I'm using a 7'2 M1 MF and it's alright but really wanting something a bit more dedicated. My next thing was sending the M1 out and reguiding it and changing the reel to a new ballistic Lt when it arrives. So pretty on the fence still

What speed reel do you use for swim jigs?
on my flipping/jig setup i have an 8:1:1 on my vibrating jig rod i use a 6:4:1 it really is all about your prefernce. i agree if you in constant movement with no slack any ratio will work. but for pause and go you may want to pick up line faster, thats where the higher gear ratio come into play hope that helps
