  3. neither have i, i just like other baitcasters better. i yanked a 10xd out of my arm it sucked
  4. lol a lot of the water i was seeing today is almost unlocked. i hope to get out on a week or two
  5. just another option. i use a 7'2 light l, fast action Phenix M1 paired with a ci4+2500 it is perfect and has handled 3lb smallies with ease
  6. i was told today we in NH are getting another snow storm friday into saturday. WHY!!!!!!?
  7. ouch end of april northern nh will be cold be luckey if rhe mountain lakes are at 50 at the time of year. like others said hop on 93 south and go to winnesquam or even the big girl winnepasuki(spelling) fish prespawn pattern as well
  8. try the flea market page here there are always good deals. between the rods you mentioned i would go with the lightning over the ugly stick. if tacklewarehouse is having a sale you can find good deals there as well.
  9. i have a phenix M1 7'2 M fast paired with a ci4+ 2500 and it handles like a dream. i use it for shakey heads but it is so sensitive i bet it would work great for DEEP drop shots.
  10. i met charlie moore years ago at a fishing expo put on by a small fishing club and he is a real big bag of d**ks. just an arrogant jerk.
  11. so many great choices. 1st:Deny Brauer or greg hackney- i love the way they flip gnarly mats 2nd: david fritts: that man can crank 3rd:kvd just because 4th:rick clunn all around great 5th:james watson he is a riot
  12. your going for a dip fo sho. 7' not bad just being goggles and a decent water proof light. how cold is the water? i mean if it is above 60 your fine.
  13. to me it shows lack of pride in your gear. i mean no disrespect at all but if you buy something like a megabass rod or a c0ncept c reel high end equipment and just let it sit in the extream hot/cold to waste away to me is wrong. my gear is stored in a climate controled area when not in use.

i think ike has a learning disability for sure. he is beyond excited over 1lb bass the stupid outburst and lack of control of emotions. if you watch the mlf stuff he is head butting the refs and his windshield. i don't know i like his power fishing and think he is a very good angler, but he is a special kind of silly. i have keith combs to win it out of bucket A and it seems to be all but over for him
  15. im really looking forward to next week and i hope to get down to a few places soon
  16. ouch that sucks. i hope the new shows up soon and you have better luck with it
  17. have you used the fenwick yet? i ask because i wanted one but got the phenix M1 over it since i couldnt find a decent test or review
  18. i have yhe 7'2 tatula in a MH i love the thing. i use it for lipless cranks right now but it handled t-rigs and large senkos with ease
  19. I don't sorry. I truly like the diawa for casting and phenix for spinning and they are both great brands can't go wrong.
  20. here's how I roll my comfort range is between 150-200. I do have 3 reels over 200 and 1 rod over 200.plus a few rods under 100 and 1 reel under 100. here is my arsenal spinning gear 7' vendetta mf lews pro speed spin 7'2 phenix m1 MF old stradic 2500 mgf 7'2 phenix m1 LF new ci4+ stradic 2500 casting gear 7'6 jdm diawa zillion HF 13 conc C 7'4 diawa tatula frog rod 13 conc A 7'2 diawa tatula mhf lews tournament 7'1 envy black crankbait ardent elite 7'0 skeete reese MF abu garcia orra I'm pretty brand loyal I like Diawa casting rods, shimano stradic spin reels, 13 blank casting reels, and phenix spin rods. so you don't need to spend a fortune just find what you like and stick to them.
  21. I have never used a Carolina rig,Bama rig or Ned rid. I hate pork trailers I don't own a swimbait rod nor do I fish them yet. lastly I'm a natural righty and only fish lefty both spinning and baitcaster and I will not hold a fish in a pic it's to deceiving.
  22. i take this approach when learning all new techniques. Bring one set up used strictly for your technique of desire and throw it all day or until your confident. it may take weeks and months but it's the best way to become proficient. I love flipping I'm good in light cover and structure but I'm not there in the thicker stuff. that's my goal this year sensing bites through the gnarliest of cover
  23. f-ing innovative on that Frankenstein rig I'm going to do this in my early may tournament
  24. I have to say I've been feeling small paddle tails and neko rigs as of late
  25. I feel ya my last endeavor was beginning of November last year and now there is over 20" on the ground. right before the storm I was starting to eye the lamprey river in new market NH it was almost open and now not so much
