This winter I am going to try and oil and grease my own reels. Im going to start with my quantum accurist. My question is what parts do I oil and what parts do I grease. If I dont like the way the first reel goes then I will just send them off to the reel mechanic.

I recently got a stratos as well and my trim gauge has stopped working. Also my live well switch is jammed. Any solution???

i have the bill dance one. it works ok. ive only had to use it once on a heavily snagged rattle trap it got the lure back but one of the hooks broke off. Better to lose a hook than the whole bait.

i would also like to know how they got it on the carpet.

I would get an all star american classic. its a great rod at a good price.

Of all my first fish on a new lure technique my favorite was probably my first jig fish. It just takes a while to get used to.

I went up to the fishing expo and they had zillions for 210. I walked out paying 200 for it.

Would you all recommend a 5 gear ratio or a 6?? Or is it not that important for shallow divers.

I just got me a new crankin rod for shallow runners. I am looking for a reel in the 150-250 dollar price range that will fit this application well. 8-)

If I were you I would just stick with what your used to.

Wow dude that is a sweet set-up.

You could fish at state park but i wouldnt because its a lot of shallow water over there. You are allowed to fish at the discharge where water from the warm side comes into the cold side. The water there is warmer and there is rip rap. You can catch striper there to. But the discharge would be your best bet.

Fishing to much is never a problem. I wish I lived in Fl. so I could fish year round.

I also like to use a slower reel.

Also when did they start selling last years models for 26 dollars because I was there last week and they werent on sale yet. I have never ordered a rod from BPS do they package real good and everything.

If you get a Revo I wouldnt get the premier because The drag is weaker than the Revo STX

So it would be better to get like a 6 foot 6 med for my shallow and medium divers and a 7 foot med heavy for my deep divers.

Alot of people think they are ugly. I actually like the looks with the split grip and the orange and black is my high school color.

I was also thinking about a couple of crankin sticks. Im thinking about getting a 6 foot medium action for shallow divers. Also would a 7 foot medium action be good for medium divers and deep divers???
