  1. yeah i know what you mean. i was born in California in the bay area, and transplanted here in Arkansas. i noticed the pressurediffrence when fishing in mt shasta and then going back to the bay area. it was two different worlds.
  2. fav reel is Lews. rods are falcon, diawa, ugly stick, and penn.
  3. my step son goes to Arkansas Tech, when we were out on the boat fishing he was telling me that lake Dardelle has these so called jelly fish. i have not heard about this ever but... with the Arkansas River that feeds into the Mississippi River i do know that bull sharks can and will come up the rivers and through lock and dams.
  4. i dont even want to start that one.. ?
  5. went out yesterday and did not do as good as i thought i would. cranking was a plus, but i was in the wrong places. i was all the way up a creek and it was slim pickings for cover and structure. i should have gone closer to the lake body. part of fishing is learning and i am always learning. tight lines.

  8. i liked the shakespear alpha. 6.3 i bought it close to 7 years ago and was doing good then the line leveler sprocket inside lost some teeth. i like it but i bought lews reels and they are my go to reel.but i am going to try some diawa.
  9. i use 3/16 the most if fishing in rivers and streams. big bite baits has a round stand up that is amazing and will roll out of hole and snags easy. also if the current is movin ill use a 1/8 to a texas rig 5/16.
  10. looks like a old rapala crank.

  12. what is the deal with basstrax today
  13. i think with the holes in it you could lure some bait fish. i am not completely sure. i would chum some bait fish with it.
