Mann's Stingray Grub
I use them pretty regularly for bass. I use them in the 3" size as a trailer on finesse jigs when I want a super compact profile. I will also use them on a 1/16 or 1/8oz ball head jig for smallmouth. I have a 100 pack of white 4" that are used for pike and walleye on a 1/4oz ballhead. They are very durable and have a unique action.

Curado 150 DC Rod Pairing
You have one of the best rods ever built IMO. Great for all your uses. Paired with your new reel, you have a killer all around setup.

Best baits to throw in no shad, bluegill only areas.(Literally only bluegill)
Bluegill patterned swimjigs!

Another leader knot question
I tie a new leader knot every time I fish, sometimes during the day too if I'm catching good size fish. I also tie fresh knots leader and to the bait every trip too.

Best light braid for Spinning gear
What’s your idea of light braid? I use power pro 8 and 10lb with 8 and 10lb FC leaders and it’s incredibly easy to fish with. I love throwing a ned rig on a light action rod with 8lb braid. It’s amazing how sensitive it is. Almost no drag in the water.

Having trouble with Bass Resource pages loading
Has anyone been having very slow or non-loading pages the last three days. I have used Firefox, Safari, and my phone and it's been very slow. I get this type of warning:

2000 or 2500 Daiwa Tatula LT?
I would highly recommend the 3000 shallow spool Tatula LT reel with 20lb braid. It has the exact same line capacity as the 2000 but a wider spool for better line management. Also the 2000 is a very small reel for the rod you want to pair it with. I love my Tatula LT reels.

Shimano Curado K vs Daiwa Tatula 150
What is the story here. I don’t know the older model but it doesn’t make any sense to me. The 150 is a tank of a reel, I doubt they just changed the name and rereleased it 6 years later.

fluorocarbon lb for baitcasters?
You use 6lb leaders on MH rods? That seems like a problem right there.

swimbait on swingheads
Got it. It's a little different design than I have. I see your point. Thank you.

swimbait on swingheads
You find your knots get beat up from dragging, and the extra lit length from the split ring save the knots from wearing? I started using swing heads for the first time this season for SMB in light weights like 3/16 and 5/16. I was using them mostly on pretty smooth bottoms with light gravel/sand and didn't notice much line wear. I guess if the bottom was more rough it would beat up your line more.

swimbait on swingheads
Hey A-Jay Why do you use a split ring on your swing heads? Extra movement? Thx

The Favorite
I still have it. It's a unique rod. G Loomis SJR Mag Light action with an extra fast tip. It's an amazing light action rod with a little extra beef, but it will still bend to protect 4-6lb line. It's like 20 years old now. Loomis was ahead of the game with making extra fast action action rods. It's still in beautiful condition for the thousands of fish it has caught. It's been on countless streams, rivers and lakes. It's a beautiful smallie stream rod. Also my old G Loomis MBR rods. 6 1/2' and 7' rod that can do almost all of what I need to do. These are definitely my favorite rods.

Shimano Curado K vs Daiwa Tatula 150
The 100 is not as nice a reel as the 150 imo. I returned my Tatula 100 and bought another 150.

jig heads
I think it’s pretty obvious what you meant. You can check tackle warehouse for their assortment of Boss brand painted jig heads of many shapes. They are high quality with great hooks at a very reasonable price. Wait until the Black Friday sale and clean up. For reference, the Boss swim jig heads are excellent too.

Best shimano/Daiwa spinning reel for $200?
Huh, I guess everyone holds their gear differently. I would recommend the 3000 LT in the shallow spool version. It holds the same amount of line as the 2000LT for what the OP is looking for. I have two 2000LT that I love, zero issues for me.

Show off your Stuff
Nice. Do you have a Tatula SV TW to compare that reel to?

2/0 wide gap
French Fry worms - 4", T-Rigging Yum Warning Shot or Kill Shot with a light bullet weight, 3" twister Tail grub......What ever else will fit well. If you fish for SMB or LMB for that matter, these are all great baits that will work great with 2/0 EWG hook. I catch lots of fish using 2/0 hooks and small baits. You can also drop shot any bait that will fit on a 2/0 weedless style with great success.

Bass Patrol Jigs

I've "developed" an issue with all my Daiwa reels this year....
Never for me with Tatula 150, SV TW, or type R reels. I palm with three fingers in front of the trigger.
