A few vendors on Ebay just listed a bunch of Tatula SV TWS for $160. all versions right and left, and speeds. Great deal on that reel.

Fenwick Elite Tech Bass vs Mojo Bass
My Elite Tech Walleye rods are very good rods. The 6'6" ML is really nice. Pretty fast action, great for jigs. The 6'9" EF ML is a great drop shot and jerk bait rod. They are really well balanced and well made. I tried the Elite Tech Bass rods but didn't like the handles or actions as much.

New Scum Frog for 2020
Scum Frogs always land on the belly, and have the best hookup ratio of any frogs imho. They don’t look fancy but catch tons of fish, and hold up too, all at a reasonable price. I’ll be trying these out.

Kayak fish finder battery
Thx. I'm new to sonar. Is the HD transducer made by Humminbird? What does the HD transducer do that is different than the regular one?

What’s your favorite squarebill rod?
I can’t compare them.

Kayak fish finder battery
What is your opinion on that unit?

What’s your favorite squarebill rod?
Dobyns Fury 703c. It’s not a designated CB rod, but works great for 1.5 and larger sizes too.

Rostertails are underrated 100%
I use spinners regularly for SMB. I prefer Mepp’s, they spin more easily, and don’t get bent up as fast.

Another Braid to Fluro Question
The only knot I use to join back or leader to braid is the FG knot. With the FG it is important for the leader diameter to be bigger than the braids diameter. I've never even come close to the braid being larger in diameter than the backing or leader material. Even using Power Pro 8lb to 6lb or 8lb mono or flouro leader it wouldn't be an issueas far as diameters go. The FG is very slim, so it's good for attaching to your backing.

Dobyns Champion 702c listed uses
Thx. I already own 702c. It’s a great rod for what would be $200 with this sale. I know you meant skirtless, but I like shirtless too. Makes sense.

Dobyns Champion 702c listed uses
I have this rod, and know it well. Just confused by Dobyns terminology. This rod is a solid 2 power.

Dobyns Champion 702c listed uses
I saw this on the Dobyns site as the description for the 702c rod. What would you people think is the difference between "shaking worms" and "Shaky Heads"? I know it's not too important, but just wondering what their two descriptions might mean. It's a great shaky head rod for sure, but now I really want to shake some worms in this new mysterious way.........flick shake?

Long Leaders
If you use 10’ and feel comfortable with it, stick with it. My 2 cents would be to keep the leader knot to be between the reel and the first guide when in casting position. With this method your leader will be different lengths depending on your rod length. It works out very well for me, and allows for easy casting. The connection knot sails through the guides.

What size Braid for Baitcaster
I don't go below 30lb braid. I use Power Pro which is pretty thin, but never have any issues at all.
-
Best Braided Lines
Power Pro original in Yellow. On every setup, both casting and spinning except one, which has straight fluoro. I've never had one issue with so I never changed. Casting I don't go below 30lb, spinning I use 8-15lb.

Tatula or Stradic Ci4?
Either reel. They are both great. I see no advantage of one over the other. The new Stradic FL looks nice too
