Sun Protection
I just ordered this one the other day due to it's length. Most other ones I have leave some of the back of my neck exposed.

I have 2 SB's in my cart. Still trying to decide if I want that 7'3" Zillion Jig/Worm. I normally use 7' for my weighted T-Rig. Not sure if 7'3" will feel odd to me.

Best of: Creature Style Baits
Rage Bug and Pit Boss are up there. But one that I've had a lot of success on, that I never see anybody mention, is the Dynamic Lure's Ten Craw. The orange crush is especially deadly on smallies. http://dynamiclures.com/shop/lures/ten-craw/

Great deal for anyone who's a size medium. Which isn't me, dammit. https://www.cabelas.com/product/clothing/mens-casual-clothing/mens-fishing-clothing/mens-fishing-shirts/pc/104797080/c/104746680/sc/104329080/i/103936680/columbia-mens-pfg-terminal-tackle-zip/2375658.uts?slotId=10

Question regarding that 20% off Academy Sports code. Is the code always the same, and they just activate it from time to time? Or does the code change? Also, how do we know when it's going on? I don't believe they advertise it on their site, do they? Oh, asking for a friend. I may have been wrong about the Janesville store. Coworker said he thought it had already re-opened.

Deciding between these rods for t-rig worms/creature baits
Ah, I actually did look at the Deputy. Never fished ALX rods but I'm always willing to try something new. How do you get the 20% off if you don't mind me asking? That's my thought on the Zillion as well. Always hard to pass up a good deal. When you says they fish heavy, are you talking about the Tat or both the Tat and Zillion?

Deciding between these rods for t-rig worms/creature baits
That rod looks like a beaut! But a little more than I wanna pay TBH. Would like to stay under $200 if possible.

Deciding between these rods for t-rig worms/creature baits
I'm in the market for a new Texas Rig worm/creature bait rod. After looking around for a bit, I think I have it narrowed down to these rods. Anybody have any experience with any of these? Dobyns Fury FR 704C. $110 Daiwa Zillion 7'3" med/heavy fast worm/jig rod. Reg. $260, on sale $155 Cashion 7'3" med/heavy fast. $180 Was also looking at Tatula and Zodias rods.

Dobyns Colt?
Can't comment on that specific model, but I got the Colt cranking stick and I'm very happy with it. The price point on these are hard to beat.

6th Sense
Yeah, no kidding. I got some more in more natural colors for clear water, but didn't take pics of those.

6th Sense
So, this year is the first time I decided to purchase some 6th Sense cranks/square bills. And I gotta say, if they work as well as they look, I'm gonna be one happy man. These things are a work of art. Not to mention they come with some great hooks. Pictures don't do these paint jobs justice. You have to see them in person to truly appreciate them. Question to those who have been fishing these....how does the finish hold up?

Style of hook recommendation for 4.8 Keitech
What others have said. Also adding a little flash can be the difference between getting bit and not getting bit during certain times. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Lazer_Trokar_Swim_Blade_2pk/descpage-TKSBD.html

Buff questions.

I notice if I breath out of my mouth (which is not natural for me) then my glasses won't fog up.- The latest sale thread
Yup. Technically DeForest. And it was already right next to Camping World (who bought Gander) so that one makes sense. I doubt the Janesville store re-opens. That wasn't one of the nicer buildings.- Crankbait rod help
Dobyns Colt is a great rod at a fair price. I got the 7' med/heavy cranking (CL 705CB) for my cranking/jerkbait needs. It has a moderate/fast action. Love it. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Dobyns_Colt_Series_Casting_Rods/descpage-CLTR.html- Favorite Sun Gloves
Got some from Cabela's, but have yet to wear them. You can't tell in the pics, but they do have rubber on the palm for grip. https://www.cabelas.com/product/CABELAS-GUIDEWEAR-FINGER-SUN-GLOVE/2726819.uts- The latest sale thread
Nice. The one closest to me (Brookfield) is re-opening. I know they combined with Camping World. Do they still carry as much fishing stuff as before? (not that their selection was on the same level as Cabela's or BPS).- The latest sale thread
Oh so they're up and running again eh? I wonder when stores around me will start re-opening.- When to switch to a CB or SB
If the water is clear, try more natural-looking cranks. And if the place is highly pressured, try silent or very faint rattle cranks. For really clear water I like ghost/clear colored cranks like the MJ Ghost Minnow color: http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Lucky_Craft_LC_Silent_Deep_Diver_Crankbaits/descpage-LCLCDD.html http://img.tacklewarehouse.com/watermark/rs.php?path=LCLCDD-MGM-1.jpg- Bed fishing lures
If I'm sight fishing, I like using a light/white color. If you can see your bait it makes things 10 times easier. One of my favorites is the 3.5" reaction Innovations Sweet Beaver. Make sure you split the larger appendages apart.- The latest sale thread
Looking at this further, I think that have the wrong info listed. The model # of that rod is that of the 7'3" med/heavy fast action. Also, on Daiwa's official site there are no Zillions listed. Are these being discontinued I wonder?- The latest sale thread
Nice! I'd pull the trigger on the 7'3 med-heavy jig/worm rod, but it isn't fast action. It's regular. Anybody have any experience with these rods? Is Daiwa's regular action faster than others? - Buff questions.
