Do you currently have it or has it ran out? Either way you can get it. Not sure how it works if you have 2 months left on your previous membership...if they're tack the 12 months on at the end of that, or what. Talk to me. I've never handled these. But I'd like to get some 'cheaper' rods to travel with where I don't care if they get banged around as much etc. I see the reel seat is different than the Tharp's. Tharp's look thinner and I'm a big fan (the new models are even better!). How's the comfort on these? Any specific models you already have? Any info would be appreciated.

I believe it's a salamander/fire belly newt (native to China and Japan). The Zillion is as small as the 70? Or isn't that what you mean?

Most will probably say Zillion, just because it is a better reel and you're getting it at a steep discount. I don't have a Zillion...yet. But I do have 2 of the 70's and like them a lot. They are really small, so if you have giant mitts you may not like the? I'd say I have average size hands and that thing just disappears in them. I find them very comfortable to fish with.

This guy has accounted for so many dock fish it isn't even funny. Texas-rigged with a 1/8 oz weight, unpegged.

If you go fishing, there's at least a chance you might catch something. If you're sitting on your couch, you have 0% chance of catching anything. That's how I look at it.
