  1. I have no experience with this rod, but Scheels has the 13 Fishing Omen Black Swimbait rod (8' XH/F) for $89.99. Reg. $159.99.
  2. We have open water on a lot of lakes in the southern part of WI. Come on down!
  3. What they said. 20# Sniper.
  4. My Walmart doesn't usually have much for sales, but they sure do right now. Like mentioned earlier in this thread, Shad Raps for $2. They were all picked over. Certain KVD 1.5's for $2. Berkley pre-rigged Swim Shads. Never used these before but they were marked down to $1.50. Each bait is pre-rigged. The main reason I wondered to the fishing section is because I've been wanting to get some of the Cuda 8" titanium snips. They're usually $14, but were marked down to $3.50! So I grabbed a few.
  5. I'd go Daiwa over Abu every time. I have never used that particular Abu but just from experience I've never been an Abu guy. You can also look at the Tatula 100 (not CT). The previous model is marked down if you can find them. I saw a right-hand/7.3 on Amazon for $130.
  6. Seriously. The guys/gals in here are monsters!
  7. Same. Or thru the eyeball. This thing is definitely gonna kill some fish.
  8. I agree. These neoprene covers are extremely nice quality. But like you, a little heavy for my taste. I'll stick with the webbed mesh ones. Not AS much protection as the neoprene, but gets the job done. For me at least.
  9. WHO WHO WHO???? Wait, don't tell me, I don't wanna know.
  10. Took advantage of TW's latest extra 25% off discounted sale items. Flat Daddy's for $3. Hard to pass up. Like I said, 13 Fishing hard baits are so underrated. Sad to see them go if that's really what's happening. And a few 6th Sense stuff from Copper State. Anybody ever use the Duel Hardcore Noi-Z? It was $7.50, marked down from $20 so figured I'd give it a shot. It kind of reminds me of the Megabass I-Loud.
  11. If a 12" bass managed to get the hook it it's mouth, if you set the hook hard enough, that thing is coming through the top of it's head.
  12. Excellent. Now I have a use for my Flambeau Bazuka rod tube that I haven't used in probably 25 years!
  13. Oh, duh. I totally read that wrong/too fast. I thought he said he got the rod for $200. Note to self: Don't go on Bass Resource as soon as you wake up.
  14. How'd you get one so cheap? Aren't they $400+?
  15. Mine came yesterday and I also got a few of the Provoke 77's. I think these are gonna be killer.
  16. I just realized St. Croix isn't a site sponsor anymore.
  17. I only have experience with the Tharp Series. I have the last gen Hammer (7' MH) and now I just bought the new model (Money Maker 7'3 MH). Absolutely love these rods. Looks and feels great. The 7'3 balances perfectly with a Tatula Elite reel. They definitely punch above their price point IMO.
  18. Quite the deal for anyone who's looking for this particular model. Not sure how many people run Motorguide anymore. I see it less and less nowadays. https://bait-wrx.com/collections/bargain-cove/products/g-force-eliminator-motorguide-tour-pro-red
  19. You'd be surprised how small of bass will eat a 10-12" worm. Last summer I caught a 10" bass on a 10" worm. You'd be surprised how small of bass will eat a 10-12" worm. Last summer I caught a 10" bass on a 10" worm.
  20. As others have mentioned, you can't go wrong with the Beetle Spin. Another great option is a pre-rigged 3 hook worm like the Bass Stopper Lures Rigged Worm.
