Here in NC I paid 2.77 this weekend. Fished the ABA tournament and use all of the 48 gals in my boat. Won the tournament $825 for first place. So I take the 132.96 I paid for gas from my winnings wich leaves me $692.04 less entry fee - $80.00 witch leaves me with $612.04 Less 25% expences and now I have $459.03. I then keepup with the non highway gas I use so the state will pay me back .23 cents per gallon. Refund on non highway gas = $11.04 + $459.03 this leaves me with +/- $470.07 Hmmm pretty good weekend. How many of you know that you can get back tax money on gas you don't use on the highway? This incudes boats,lawn mowers etc. any thing you can't use on the highways. Oh yea before you start in on me, the above figures could be off a few cents high or low. ;D

I had to get me a PC with an over drive. ;D Just kidding mine is slow at times also. When I first check in I will go to the bottom of the page and see how many guest and members are on. If it is around 600 I will just set back and wait for a while. The site is always worth the wait.

Yes it did. Remember Brian Kershaw who won the bass masters classic and then got killed in a plane crash. He started in the federation club, won the six man, won the state and made it to Bassmasters Classic and won that. I think he was the only one to do that.

I fished my first 6 man in 1975. I went as a non boater and I drew a guy that was a very good fisherman. I think his name was Mr. Parker. I had a high performance boat back then also. It was a 14' with a 25hp Johnson with custom seats and all the bells. This guy had a 17 or 18' something with 115hp motor. When he pulled out the helment and put it on I new I was in trouble. I did manage to catch one fish that day and a guy from our club won the tournament. Best I can remember Mr. Parker had two fish. It was a good day on the water. Oh yea I think that guy I drew went on to be PRO Fisherman. ;D

I got a life time about 20 years ago and I never hear from them. They did'nt even let me know that my $10,000 accidental death policey was no longer any good. What would have happend if I had gotten killed and did'nt know this. Man I would have died a poor man. ;D
