  1. Like raul's friend mentioned, 2 piece rods beeing less sensitive is a myth, especially JDM rods. A friend of mine has a Tailwalk and he's very happy with it. These rods don't cost an arm an a leg: http://www.plat.co.jp/shop/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22_80_427_429&products_id=1943 K's Labo also has some nice looking 2 piece rods: http://www.plat.co.jp/shop/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22_80_432_436&products_id=1992

Make a lampshade? No way, cranks like these have "eat me" written all over them. ;D ;D How can you not like cranks like that. I'm far from beeing rich, but I just prefer high end lures and they are soooo sexy!!!! ;D ;D
  3. Has anyone used the Daiwa Alphas 150H and what is your opinion on the reel? Thanks in advance!
  4. Great pics and great fish!

  7. Nice fish, congrats! I'm surprised you're still catching some fish with the lake levels beeing so low.

    WELCOME to the forums!
  9. That fish was caught in february out of about 20' of water. They seem to have that coloration during winter. The lake I fish is over 800 feet in the deepest spot! Very rocky and steep dropoffs everywhere. The water in winter is gin clear and there are millions of shad. I keep hearing that people catch bass in 60'+ of water, but around here you catch them in max. 25'. They never seem to be deeper than that and I dont know anyone that has caught them deeper. I hope you catch your PB!!! Here another pic of a winter bass:

All jigs represent craws, some are better then others, that's all. I really like japanese jigs.

I agree, the Imakatsu Mogulla jigs are great! These are also very good: http://www.ichibantackle.com/showproductdetail.asp?productid=2359&name=CORE%20HEAD%201/2%20oz&manufacturename=GAN%20CRAFT You can also try the Glass Killa. ;D ;D The jigs name should be Grass Killer.

This guy is on the prostaff and not some kind of beginner, he should know how to set a hook.

Looky Craf! ;D ;D I have seen some of his videos. He is from Spain and is actually considered one of the better fisherman there! ;D ;D Obviously he never heard about a hookset. When I saw the video I had to laugh my arse off! ;D ;D Set the hook stupid in spanish is: clavalo estupido
