  1. Good luck and I hope to see plenty pics!
  2. There are days when the X-Rap is THE BOMB! It's just a confidence thing, that's all.
  3. I agree with you. The lake I fish hardly has any weeds and if, only in a few isolated spots. I mostly fish rocky bottom or rip rap, that's why I cut the weed guard. When fishing grass etc. it doesnt make any sense.
  4. Since you're allways catching these strange fish, I bet you're going to catch something but it won't be a bass! ;D ;D
  5. WELCOME!
  6. I would of guessed 3.5lbs. but since you are only skin and bones, I guess just shy of 3lbs. sounds about right. ;D You should of waited for a bit with the actual weight, would have been interesting to see some of the etimates. Why don't you post another pic and we can start all over again.
  7. That's a good one, ohh wise one! 8-)
  8. Exactly!!! 8-)
  9. I wish you all the best and don't bring back any of those pretty brazilian girls! ;D ;D ;D
  10. The Vision 110 is not a suspending jerkbait but a slow floater. One of my favorite baits as well!! I really like the Evergreen Sledge 7-SP or 6-SP. Try the Vision 110 saltwater version (floating), works great on scattered fish.
  11. I usually trim the weed guard, unless I'm fishing really thick grass/weeds. I do find you get a better hook up this way. I use a fingernail clipper to trim the guard. Works great! By the way, the jig in the pic is a Lucky Craft Glass Killer, awesome jig!! 8-)
  12. Those are healthy, fat fish, especially those smallies are awesome! Congrats! 8-)
  13. I don't allways believe cabelas product descriptions. : I don't own any x-rap's (sold them all) ;D ;D
  14. That's what I also heard but you can still get them on ebay: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=viper+design+risebacker&category0=
  15. Nice fish! I'm pretty sure that is not a brook trout but a marble trout (Salmo trutta marmoratus). Where did you catch it? As far as I know this trout is native only in Europe. Strange???!!!
  16. ~$175 worth of visions Baitmonkey likes u I have a few more! ;D ;D
  17. That's why I want to try it. Seem like it could be a good fall bait. How fast does it sink? Which colors for clear water?
  18. Raul, I'm shocked! There actually is lure you don't own?? ;D ;D Let me know if you do try one.
  19. Yes, the Risebacker sure ist a sweet bait and doesn't cost an arm and a leg like some other japanese baits. 8-)
  20. Well done, congrats! 8-)
  21. That's a beauty Avid and a great pic! 8-) Glad you're felling better!

    WELCOME to the forums! 8-)
  23. They would not survive around here. :'( Water temps drop to the low 30's in winter. I'd rather have some smallies!!
