Yes, looks like the eurasian watermilfoil. There is this river which is full of this stuff and the bass love it. In this pic you can see some of this stuff hanging on the lure. Looks the same as in the first pic.

I wish perch would get as big as bass because these things will hit anything! Caught this 6" perch today on a Bomber model A (6A). Talk about greedy!

Yes, trailer hooks really help. Both spinnerbait fish were barely caught on the trailer hook.

Add some oregano, olive oil and the minced garlic and you have yourself a worm pasta. No, seriously, do whatever you feel like will make you catch more fish. Try Chompers softbaits, they smell worse then real garlic!

The one in your pic seems to be a northern strain. The one in the pic is also a northern strain but almost black.

Any color will do but black seems to be angler's preferred. I agree with roadwarrior, get yourself some LC Sammy's 115 or 128.

Have you checked it out? The whole front half of the body is hard but covered with a thin soft layer. It is just the back half that is all soft and segmented. I had some and sold them all! I don't like the way they run at all. Soft swimbaits without a lip are the way to go.

Went fishing 2 afternoons in a row and managed to catch 2 each afternoon. Not bad for it beeing so hot around here. All of sudden it started pouring rain and guess where I'm going tomorrow afternoon...... I hope the rain cools things down a bit and the bass start biting like crazy! Caught one on a chartreuse jig (which I never usually use but tried it for the heck of it), one on a LC Sammy 115 and the two the next day on a spinnerbait.
