  1. Curado for me as well. If they're anything like the old ones, they deserve the cash.
  2. Or try adding a trailer to your buzzbait.
  3. How much are lucky craft lures there? Do many people use them? I just got a LC hat to add to my small (but growing) LC arsenal. Cheers.
  4. Lowrance LMS332C, period. Nothing else will even come close in that price range. ..Or the LMS 480m if you don't need/prefer color.
  5. Ha, yeah Raul I've been a fisherman all my life, but since in the past 2 years turned into a tackle collector instead. : ;D
  6. Strangest? Probably a [glb]duck[/glb]. I was fishing over a bridge where a lot of people feed them and plopped a white popper down, as soon as it hit a duck swam under from the other side and grabbed it. I tried to jerk it away quick but set the hook in its tounge in the process. Good thing I was only using 4 lb test, it tried to fly off squacking like hell. The line finally broke. I was only 11. ;D
  7. I've tried tons of lines but always seem to come back to 10 lb big game or 10 or 12 lb Excel.
  8. Lol, nothing like raul but heres my artillery... 2 BPS Extreme Lite 1 Curado 200B5 1 Diawa Procaster 1 '05 Spirex 1000FE and one gimpy shakespeare ultralight for trout park fishing.
  9. I TOTALLY agree, my dads champion handles rough water like bugs under a car tire, you never know its there. Ride in one and you'll never go back..
  10. Yeah, me too. We're some lucky suckers huh.
  11. Yes they make a difference, worth the price weeelll... Right now you're still going to pay a decent price for that color screen. If you're going to get color, look into the lowrance X102c. Otherwise, there is no reason to spend more than their X135 or even their Eagle Fishmark 480 unless you're drop shotting. The 500c doesn't have that impressive of a screen and is only 1500 watts and no flasher, basically twice the price of the 480 just for a lower pixel color screen. The 480 at 1,500 watts will pick up a 1/4 oz jig in 20 ft of water easily. With color, red indicates a harder return just as a darker line does with black and white. If you want GPS, look into the Lowrance LMS 332c.
  12. I too fish table rock, but usually not specifically for spots. They can usually be taken on drop shot rigs in clearer water or deep jigging works well also. 40+ feet is not uncommon for them at all at TR, even in the james river arm. ps. Hi Raul! ;D
