Bass fishing beneficiaries?
Kind of a somber topic, but I feel like I don't have anyone that I'd like to pass on my life's work to. I have family and I do love them, but given their financial situation as well as my own I feel like I'd just be spoiling them. I read about a program that has been breeding large trophy bass and introducing them to different lakes. I didn't catch the name, but something like this I'm interested in donating to....I'm interested in similar programs as well... I would love to help enhance the experience for seasoned as well as young anglers. Maybe a fish stocking program? What nonprofit would you consider the best bang for your buck?

If your **** is hanging on a hook and not accurately kept on a sheet of paper you've lost your fight.

Wire, wire, wire!!! I'm a shore fisherman, so I have to walk around strapped to anything I fish. I only fish zman green pumpkin plastics.

Wasting Money on Soft Plastics
I think everyone "over-thinks" it and you left out the most important element, which is proximity. It's like the chubby girl at the bar that you normally wouldn't talk to, but being that you're at a bar, had a bit to drink, now they're suddenly more attractive... Yeah, we all know what happened. I think the same thing goes for fish. The more time you spend closer to them the better your chances are of them having a lapse of judgement. There's times you can connect the dots and say, "the mayfly hatch was happening, so that's why they were so on my whopper plopper... there were mayfly scuba, splash, sex parties going on everywhere!". Or it could be that the hatch had them all close to the surface feeding and that was why the bite was on.

Finesse jig help
Nevermind, I just went with watermelon

Finesse jig help
One other quick question. I'm looking at photos on bass pro... I fish green pumpkin almost exclusively. The green pumpkin for this line up has orange in it, which I think will make this look a little out of whack with the forage species. Are the pics on bass pro accurate? It looks like watermelon might be the better option.

Finesse jig help
Hello. I was looking for suggestions for a replacement to my zman 1/8oz micro finesse jigs. Does anyone know of a similar sized jig with a weed guard and a different style head that comes through weeds better?

Help pick a 2pc rod for finesse bank fishing
Hi everyone. I'm struggling with hook sets with my current setup... Okuma sst 7ft medium light power, moderate action with a Shimano Nasci 2500 spooled with 15lb braid and 7lb flouro leader. I throw primarily smaller zman baits (T-rigged, dropshot, neko) using the following hooks... Vmc #1 ike neko, owner cover shot 1/0, zman ewg bulletz, owner 2/0 light wire twistlock swimbait hooks, zman shrooms. I'll also on occasion throw a booyah pond magic spinnerbait, a strike king finesse buzzbait or finesse popper. I'm a bank fisherman and I need to have a 2pc (or travel) rod so it'll fit in my car. I'm more partial to split handles, but it's not required. I've been looking at the following and I'm open to advice/suggestions... - St Croix Triumph 7' med light fast - Fenwick HMX 6'6 Med light moderate fast Budget is $150 Thanks in advance.

KVD Shark tooth... Anyone use one of these?
Hi all. I just stumbled across this little gadget and I was surprised I hadn't heard of it before. Does anyone have experience with it?

Drop shot weight knot
Hello. I just purchased some inexpensive 1/16 oz drop shot weights that I didn't realize are lacking the pinched eyelet that traditional drop shot weights have. What knot should I be tying to the eyelet that should break if the weight gets hung so I don't lose the entire rig?

You better tie a swivel on that thing.

Tackle warehouse processing time
I actually just placed an order with discount tackle in Oregon. I picked up a bunch of zman plastics, roboworms, a couple war eagle finesse spinners and vmc weedless neko hooks. Prices seem very competitive and free shipping if you're over $59

I agree 100% and I think it's a huge disservice to their business to continue offering the free shipping if they're going to honor it in this manner, it's just going to tick people off

Tackle warehouse processing time
I've ordered from them numerous times, never did I expect a 3 week delay. I guess I'm ignorant in that regard, so it wasn't expected. Can anyone give me another "for instance" of a similar warehouse issue? One where they have product on the shelf, but they can not get the product out the door because of warehouse restrictions (limited amount of order pickers within the warehouse) that delays orders a minimum of 3 weeks?

Thanks, that's exactly what I did. Hopefully some day they'll get their act together and I can shop there again. Right now they're a great site for stocking stuffers.

I'm not trying to beat a dead horse, but people keep directing things at me so that's why I keep responding. Give me the chance and I'll drop it.

Tackle warehouse processing time
Have you? I'm guessing you're going to tell me, so it relates to the situation I'm voicing my opinion about, is that they had plenty of gas but there wasn't enough people to sell it. I can understand a gas shortage. I can't understand how a company can have product on the shelf and not be capable of making a sale. I don't care who you point the finger at, it's idiotic.

Tackle warehouse processing time
It's been going on for some time. When a nerve shuts down, so does that muscle group. It's kind of pathetic, but a 15" bass gave me a tough fight with the loss of strength and the pain from the injury

Tackle warehouse processing time
I want to enjoy it while I can. I'm not sure if I'm going to get many more chances this year. I'm not blaming TW for that... It was just an observation that I thought was a bit ridiculous. I ended up ordering my stuff... Mostly zman plastics from a couple ebay sellers

Tackle warehouse processing time
I've been dealing with pain in my right arm since March that's kept me from fishing. I had a steroid injection in my neck to alleviate it and since three days after the injection it's steadily been getting worse again. Herniated c5 which is pinching the nerve in my right arm

Honestly, I don't think it's really your place to say why someone should/shouldn't be patient without knowing anything about them.
