I’m not sure if I read this correctly but you are in the market for a cranking rod correct? Well anyhow if so I would check out the Powell endurance glass composite. I have a mhf e6x that I’m actually going to sell to replace it with a Powell endurance I prefer glass for cranking personaly. Having had a Powell glass rod in the past I know they are good quality tuff and light.

I don’t have a heavy I have a m spinning but I would pair it with a curado k or a chronarch mgl

I’m all shimano and I have the new Stradic ci4 but I must say diawa has the better spinning reels I will not buy another shimano spinning reel I just feel diawa has got down on their spinning reels. Shimano still rains king on baitcasters i don’t care what anyone says!

That’s a nice reel but for that price i would rather have a diawa Exceler LT its basically the same as a new fuego LT with one or two less bearings.

This happened to me one time wile striper fishing I went to set the hook and I slipped as I fell on my back side I let go of the rod and I watched my rod and reel take off into the abyss never to see it again. Has this happen to anyone else?
