  4. St. Croix Avid AVC66MF is my dedicated jerkbait and topwater rod. It serves well as an "all around" rod for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and crankbaits. The rod is rated Fast Action, but the tip is soft. The 6 1/2' length is great for working lures and fine tuning your presentation. 8-)

  23. Your chances of catching a bass during lock-through are nil. Also, if the Ohio system is similar to the Tennessee River, which I think it is, two hours is just an "average". There is no telling what the real time will be, it all depends on barge traffic. 8-)

  25. X2 I keep track of PB's and that's about it lol My partner and I keep track of the running total of 5+ lb smallmouth and 20+ lb striper. My totals for 2008 and so far in 2009 are fairly easy to remember: -0-
