  1. We have to add Eli to the mix. The Biggest Upset in NFL history surprised everyone.
  2. Ridiculous. This has been the #1 bait for decades.
  3. My Spooks have been replaced by the LC Sammy.
  4. I have my drag "dialed" and trust it completely.
  5. Modern drag systems are THE BOMB!
  6. Last week TVA ran 60,000 cfs while I was there Wednesday through Friday, but no gates were open. The lake is close to winter pool. I am going back tomorrow and hope to have comparable conditions. https://www.tva.com/Environment/Lake-Levels/Pickwick
  7. I use this for all treble hook presentations, but that is the only time I fish monofilament line.
  8. No. Crayfish are freshwater crustaceans.
  9. Dallas is toast.
  10. If it is determined to be defective, G. Loomis will replace the rod. Otherwise: https://www.gloomis.com/content/dam/shimanosnaffish/pdf/expCon1.pdf
  11. What? You live in Ohio...check out the Great Lakes. Have you followed A-Jay in Fishing Reports? He's the guy who catches those "little bitty" smalljaws and they are ALL from a lake. https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/profile/13860-a-jay/?wr=eyJhcHAiOiJmb3J1bXMiLCJtb2R1bGUiOiJmb3J1bXMtY29tbWVudCIsImlkXzEiOjEzOTA2MiwiaWRfMiI6MjYyMzI5NH0=
  12. 20+ smallmouth each day, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mostly 2 1/2- 3 1/2 lbs, a couple north of 4, but no 5s.
  13. I am using #20 Seaguar Smackdown on spinning tackle and #6 Seaguar Gold Label leader line. For baitcasting, #30 Smackdown and #30 Gold Label. https://seaguar.com/saltwater/new-lines/gold-label-25
  14. After all these years I rediscovered the Kreature last week and it was KILLER!
  15. The vast majority of smallmouth fishing in the Mid South is on the lakes, not the river, and I would like to keep it that way!
  16. Troll them for both smallmouth and striper.
  17. I target smallmouth on the Tennessee River and the various lakes, but we still catch largemouth at the same spots and with the same lures. Everything else that swims are other options that come along with every trip. Last week I caught a MONSTER buffalo on a Baby Rage Craw.
  18. Better reels make fishing more fun!
