  1. Welcome aboard!
  2. Rapala calls their X-Raps "slash baits".
  3. We all probably started with a Rogue https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Smithwick_Suspending_Rattlin_Rogue_Jerkbait/descpage-SSRR.html
  4. Well, for my brother that means no golf or fishing at 60*. For me, I'll start a little cooler, but I want a high of 40* or more. I fished with ghoti a few years ago on the White River in Arkansas. The morning temperature was 8* when the guide asked us what we wanted to do. Clear skies and bright sunshine warmed the air to 19* by 10:00 and we set out on the river. That won't ever happen again!
  5. Mine is a custom built Rainshadow Eternity, 6'8" MF with a soft tip. Good distance, good action and responsive on retrieve. The blank is ETEC68M. Recommended line is 10-17 lbs; lure weight 1/4-3/4. The rod is matched with a Daiwa Alpha 103 and spooled with #11 Sunline Shooter Defier Armilo.
  6. Well, a little joke about small towns on the prairie: How'd you pick this place to settle? The mule died. So, even if that applies to your great grandparents, why are you still there?
  7. Put them in our Flea Market for free + postage. You will make someone very happy!
  8. No, more like 20+. We get them almost every day. Most of them are "hit and run", but occasionally a troll will stick around for awhile.
  9. The ex-member was removed and all his posts were expunged.
  10. Wow! That's a great tip and an observation I would have never considered. Thank you!
  11. Welcome aboard!
  12. Every day for two weeks? It's past time to move on to another location.
  13. Olive Shad, 1/2 oz. almost any bait shop or online (Tackle Warehouse)
  14. #1000...That's great!
  15. The MBR844C is my favorite, but the 842 is a great stick, too. My 842 is my dedicated swimbait rod (Rage Tail Swimmer) and for the Menace.. I recommend this rod over the 843 to compliment your line-up.
  16. Some bass have an affinity for soft plastics, that's true, but they generally pick them up off the bottom. The point of the article was to discourage anglers from simply tossing used baits overboard. Bass rarely eat a plastic off a hook even though they try.
  17. Call Shimano in California to discuss the problem. It probably needs to be sent in. https://fish.shimano.com/content/dam/shimanosnaffish/pdf/US Reel Repair Form 2019.pdf
