  1. Buy you minnows at the Outpost across the dam. Great breakfast and BBQ, too!
  2. I have never owned a "snagless" jig. Substitute a GYCB Kreature for a very similar presentation, but weedless.
  3. I am not familiar with the STX. I own Core, Aldebaran, Curado, Conquest and Calcutta CTE.

  5. When I was younger I preferred hunting, but I don't hunt anymore.
  6. Well, Shimano has a well earned reputation for quality and dependability: Strong, silent and reliant. Specifically, Stradic CI4+ spinning; Curado K baitcasting are both great starting points. If you have a bigger budget, I have some other suggestions in the Shimano line-up. For production rods my preference is G. Loomis.

  8. Geez... I can't believe you are posting a rubber lip.
  9. Got it going on!
  10. My dad bought the Rapala in the early 60's. It was my first "Magic Lure".

  12. I have jumped aboard this train, too! Well, jerkbait rod, too.
  13. I fish the White River Reservoirs (Beaver, Table Rock, Tannycomo and Bull Shoals). They are NOT Southern Lakes.
  14. Just ramping up for fall in the Mid South.

  16. Try a jig I designed for Siebert Outdoors: 3/8 oz Grid Iron G2, "Kent Craw" https://siebertoutdoors.com/products/ols/products?page=4 Trailer: Rage Tail Blue Craw https://www.ragetail.com/products/rage-craw/
  17. You all fish a lot differently than me. My motto is "If you ain't getting hung up, you ain't in the right spot." I'm not sure I have ever fished a single jig for an hour. On the Tennessee River it's often one and done. I might be Siebert Outdoors best customer!
