My bass was 12.4 lbs

Caught my PB January 5 on ToHo. Fished minnows on top of grass with a balloon. Hook & minnow were fixed at about 3'. 4-6" minnows, but you have to keep them alive!

My ears hurt. Is that "music" or just noise?

That series is not an upgrade.

There might be a better alternative at a lower price. Have a custom built using a Rainshadow Eternity blank, Alps/ Toray reel seat and Fuji guides. I have a couple that I am very happy with.

Bone or Baby Bass

I am a HUGE fan of MegaStrike and have been for more than a decade or two. However, I don't think it actually "attracts" bass, but will cause them to hold on better. They might like the taste, too!

Use the leader line as the "stationary" line, wrapping with the braid. Moisten (spit) and tighten slowly. Now tighten the main forcefully, then the leader. Trim to about 1/8". Pinch the knot between your thumb and index finger. With a cigarette lighter CAREFULLY burn a bead on the tag ends. You will have to practice a few times and of course, start over if you burn the main lines!
