  1. I think mine is 15 years old, the same one I am wearing in my avatar. It doesn't leak and looks as good as new! This is the best fishing investment I ever made.
  2. I have these reels with the handle on the "correct" side.

  5. That was easy. http://www.delawarevalleytackle.com/
  6. If you like your old reels don't buy a new one because you will never fish the old ones again. Case in point is my CH50Mg, a classic that is in PERFECT condition and actually MUCH nicer than when it was brand new. I guess it's a "collector's item" for me, I never fish it anymore.
  7. Nice fish, great pic!
  8. Why? My knots never slip and very rarely fail. Take this to the bank: If it ain't perfect, it ain't good enough.
  9. My brother just retired and bought a RV that he is just dying to use. So, we have booked a hook-up on the Fin & Feathers property, walking distance to the main office. We will be down for the entire outing. WOO-HOO!
  10. This is Denver's last week as World Champions. It's been fun for our fans as everyone would expect. I know just how excited Atlanta and New England fans are right now and wish you all the best of luck! Besides the game and commercials, I'm pretty jazzed to see what Lady Gaga comes up with for halftime. I am expecting a "Best Ever" performance.
  11. Well, with so many options I think there are several lines that are a MUCH better choice. I have some Nanofil that I will give to the first member that sends me a PM with their address. For the second and third respondents I have some other lines you can have for free. Most are full, never been opened and some have had one spooling removed. Tell me if you DO NOT want braid.
  12. Another suggestion
  13. I have one spooled up with Yo-Zuri Hybrid and two with braid and a Tatsu leader. I think the Yo-Zuri performs better with bottom contact (Senko, Fat Ika and Rage Tail Baby Craw). For weighted baits the braid/ fluoro leader works just fine. A big advantage to the braid/ leader combination is fishing "brand new" line (leader) on every outing.
  14. Probably need to fish them more often.
  15. MegaStrike Shake2/ MegaStrike MegaTube Craw or GYCB Kut-Tail http://www.megastrike.com/
  16. 3 1/2" "Magic Shad" is the color
  17. Nearly anything you would like to fish, except The Rig, will work in May. I generally start with topwater, jerkbaits, spinnerbait, lipless and square bill crankbaits. Other hardbaits you might want to consider are Bandits and the DT6. Then I move to soft plastics: Senko, Fat Ika, Rage Tail Baby Craw, Cut-R, Structure Bug Jika rigged and Rage Blade/ Structure Bug. GYCB Kut-Tail on a Shake2 is killer! Siebert jigs and swim jigs are staples. For smallmouth #1 is the Rage Menace; #2 BPS Tender Tube #71. And finally, my career best, Sworming Hornet/ LFT Live Magic shad.
  18. Welcome aboard! I think I would be throwing the Savage Floating Bluegill.
