  1. I NEVER fish soft plastics without MegaStrike.
  2. The very BEST advice. You might start here: "Just Getting Started" Guaranteed To Catch Bass I just cant catch bass Learning to fish on your own Welcome aboard!
  3. Great game if you're a Steelers fan. 30-6 right now and the game is NOT as close as the score would indicate! For the rest of us it's pretty boring.
  4. Plan to fish the Jack Yates Classic (BassResource.com RoadTrip) March 15 through the 20th. If you keep a log and are willing to share some information, I have a few specific questions for this trip. I know things can be affected by weather and rainfall, but right now I looking for suggestions to modify my tackle for the trip. So, "generally" what can we expect? 10. Have not fished the Mag Bug yet, but I am excited to give it a whirl!
  11. Isn't that ironic... The Rage Structure Bug has been my best producer this year and last. Go figure.
  12. Seriously, this is what our grocery stores look like: http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/06/us/winter-storm-south-snow/index.html

  14. The only artificial I have ever used that out-fished live minnows being used by my partner at the same time.
  15. I lived in Denver for 17 years. Here in the Mid South they hate using the "s" word, it's referred to as "frozen precipitation". Blizzard has an all new meaning around here, too. But seriously, if the forecast holds later this afternoon the schools will be closed, some business' will instruct their employees to plan to work from home and all the government offices will be directed to reduce staff to "essential personnel" only.
  16. Well, training your thumb is a lot less expensive with monofilament line. Another alternative is tightening your brakes a notch or two and adjusting the spool tension. You will lose a little distance, but this will reduce "professional overruns" dramatically. Finally, if you decide to stick with braided line, move up to at least 30# and I prefer 40#.
