  3. Specifically, G. Loomis MBR844C
  4. Looks like you need more crankbaits!

Here is a suggestion: Outside arms: LFT Live Magic Shad on a 3/0 EWG Offset Worm Hook, weightless Inside arm: Johnson Silver Minnow
  7. Troll an Alabama Rig
  8. A Medium Power or Medium Heavy/ Fast Action can be used for just about everything. However, if you are talking about a "dedicated" rod, I think a jerkbait rig is most compatible for topwater and shallow cankbaits like square bills. I have a St. Croix Avid for sale - cheap!
  9. I consider the Avid AVC66MF the perfect jerkbait rod. The only reason I am selling the rod is that I am having a replacement custom built.
  10. Alabama Rig
  11. Written by George Welcome Let's get technical, as there are in fact reasons, not just some lame holdover from days past that put the handles where they are. What will move the fish during retrieval is placed to the strong hand! A baitcast is designed to be used as a winch, so it is the reel that retrieves the fish. Hence if you are right handed the handle is in your right hand. A spinning reel is designed to pick up unloaded or loose line, not retrieve the fish. Hence it is the rod that does the retrieval, so it is the rod that is in your strong hand. If you are right handed then the pole goes to the right hand.
  12. No worries. All of my "reserves" are in original packaging on a pegboard in my man cave. The baits "in play" are in the Plano boxes without packaging. I have NEVER had an issue.

  14. 7' MHF I think you should also consider a dedicated rig for treble hooks. Something like this: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/perfecta-lte.html
  15. We will see what we can do.
  16. I think the St. Croix is an excellent choice, but my preference is Medium Power/ Fast Action (MF).
  17. The cardboard from a roll of toilet paper works perfectly. Store it in a plastic sandwich bag and you are good to go!
