It's more than visibility. Fluorocarbon or copolymer have must better abrasion resistance and for me, fishing on the Tennessee River, I NEED to be able to break-off once in awhile.

I am using the Armilo for all treble hook applications.

Mine is saddled to a G.Loomis GLX MBR842C and spooled with Tatsu #15. This might be my favorite combination. It could do a lot of things, but I primarily use the rig for swim jigs and the Sworming Hornet.

I have had good luck with the Rage Tail Menace, T-rigged, unpegged. Other options that have been working for me is a 3/8 oz Siebert Outdoors jig (PBJ)/ Rage Craw (PBJ) and the BPS Tender Tube (#71) rigged with an internal weight, weedless.

No, they are both a blend of nylon and fluorocarbon, bonded NOT coated. They are simply different formulas.

It use to be the Zara Spook, then the LC Sammy, but for the past several years the Megabass PopMax has ruled! I hardly fish any other topwater lure anymore, but I still carry others "just in case".
