Nice fish, great pic! Welcome aboard!
  3. http://www.bassresource.com/content/search?SearchText=knots&BrowsePageLimit=30 This is a knot I like: Duncan Knot, also known as a 16/20 or Pitzen Knot.
  4. Spinning gear: Yo-Zuri Hybrid #6 (11.95 lb breaking strength) Baitcasting: Hybrid #12 (19.5 lb breaking strength)
  5. That line will be perfect!
  6. Great report and pics!
  7. Welcome aboard!
  8. Well, as you can see, several knots seem to work just fine. The key is this: "If the knot you tie is not PERFECT, it's not good enough."
  9. Congratulations! Good luck and be safe.
  10. You are on a roll!
  11. Search "Fishing Articles" for more information. This will get you started: http://www.bassresource.com/content/search?SearchText=rigging+a+worm&BrowsePageLimit=30
  12. Tery, Consider what you write before posting. You have already developed a reputation that bothers a lot of guys. Now your PB is 7, but last week it was 8 lbs. The fish in this thread might go 5 lbs, but I suspect it's 4 and change.
  13. Those fish will still be there. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
  14. Duncan Knot, also known as a 16/20 or Pitzen Knot.
  15. Or two consecutive casts!
  16. Some people like it, but you don't "need" it to be successful. Try using fluorocarbon as a leader and see if that makes any difference.
  17. Well, me thinks it might be a baby bass...This thread has run its course. Good night Irene.
  18. Touch them up with fingernail polish.

  23. When I fished the Floroclear years ago it was undependable and broke easily (on the cast!). If you want fluorocarbon I would recommend #15 Tatsu or AbrazX. Copolymer would be #12 Yo-Zuri Hybrid, P-Line CXX or Isorline.
  24. Too cool!
