  1. I don't like Ultra Soft, I only fish original Hybrid.
  2. I wish you would consider coming up to Kentucky Lake for the RoadTrip next month. I would REALLY like to meet you and see part of your collection live and in person!
  3. Picked up a few. Anyone have a review? https://search.yahoo.com/search?p=randy+howell+swimmer&fr=ush-mailn_02&fr2=p%3Aml%2Cm%3Asb
  4. Well, I know I will NEED more stuff as soon as it comes out, but I don't think I could ever actually run out of what I have.
  5. A lot of practice will improve your skills dramatically, but there is still a certain degree of talent that some guys have and some don't. You can practice free-throws everyday for the rest of your life and still never be considered for a slot in the NBA.
  6. Truely one of the best threads we have ever had. I was one of those nay-sayers stating that BPS reels and the PQ specifically were "throw-away" reels...Maybe one season, one and done...Wrong again!
  7. Best of both worlds: Fluorocarbon leader connected to braided main line.
  8. No, quite the opposite, fluorocarbon does NOT absorb water. There should be nothing wrong with the line.
  9. The Avid X has gotten great reviews. http://www.stcroixrods.com/products/freshwater/avid-x
  10. Sunline Defier Armilo #15 http://www.sunlineamerica.com/shooter-defier-armilo/
  11. Spinning: #6 Yo-Zuri Hybrid Baitcasting: #12 Yo-Zuri Hybrid
  12. #8 Tatsu on top of at least half a spool of backing.
  13. ML: Finesse, especially soft plastics M: Everything within the weight guidelines MH; Heavy lures and stronger presentations. Mostly jigs, spinnerbail, buzzbait and big worms.
  14. Great guy, great service and great products! Try his Cosmic spinnerbaits and the Fogy, too!
  15. Rapala calls the X-Rap a "slash-bait". It is a VERY active lure meant to be fished fast. The Shadow Rap by contrast is more of a traditional jerkbait. When the fish are aggressive the X-Rap is hard to beat. On my very best day fishing the X-Rap several years ago I caught nine bass on ten casts!
  16. Well, although I am a big fan of Yo-Zuri Hybrid, I think you will really like Izorline XXX, too!
  17. Yo-Zuri Hybrid #6 for the panfish rig, #12 for the other two.
  18. Everyone that fishes a Chatterbait will want a few of these: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/chatterbait-freedom.html
  19. Everything "salt" goes in Other Species. -Kent
  20. WOW! That is a great deal. However, my preference would be the MBR844C.
  21. I like a firm tip for single hooks. The soft tip you describe is probably best suited for treble hooks. As a comparison, I have a G. Loomis PR844C which is my dedicated topwater rig, but is suitable for just about any treble hook presentation.
