  1. Sharpen it or throw it away.
  2. Just a reminder, Sunday is the deadline to register.
  3. Mike at DVT is THE MAN! http://www.delawarevalleytackle.com/
  4. The Chatterbait was one of my biggest producers last year. My #1 rigging was a white Chatterbait or Rage Blade with a white Rage Structure Bug for the trailer. The only buzzbait I fish is the MegaStrike Cavitron. I fish 3/8 oz, but will be trying the new 1/2 oz size. I never use a trailer. My favorite colors are black on black. You do not need a weed guard on the Chatterbait, it comes through cover very well.
  5. Well some guys collect stamps, others collect coins. I collect tackle. My hobby is more than just catching fish, I like to play with my toys! So, I always look forward to the new introductions at the Classic and ICAST. The Rapala Shadow Rap and Mann's Reel 'N Shad look especially interesting. I will be fishing some new Pinnacle, Okuma and G. Loomis rods and reels, too! Oops! I left out my #1 new lure, the 6th Sense SX75. I received two of these from A-Jay for Christmas and can hardly wait to guve them a try. Back to the OP...I have had the opportunity to fish with a gentleman from Texas on three occasions. This man probably catches more fish and bigger bass than anyone here on BassResource.com. As far as I know he doesn't own a hard bait other than jigs and the Rage Blade. He designed and fishes every Rage Tail soft plastic. My advice is to pick up at least one pack of every bait and learn to rig them properly. Watch the instructional videos here and on the Rage Tail site and you will have a BIG O year!
  6. I like visiting the stores and talking with the guys. When I shop there is no hurry or hassel. I have been to several Grand Openings and am looking forward to our new Bass Pro Shop in Memphis. We expect to open in May at the Pyramid: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CFPageC?storeId=10151&catalogId=10051&appID=94&storeID=61
  7. "Just Getting Started" Guaranteed To Catch Bass I just cant catch bass Learning to fish on your own Also, spend some time in "Fishing Articles" and "Videos" at the top of the page. We have an extensive library and you will ramp up much more quickly reading those article and links than on the general forum. Read first, then ask questions.

  10. I prefer the Buckeye jig head for the Keitech Swing Impact Fat, but I use the Rage Rig a lot with other soft swimbaits, Craws and Lobsters.
  11. I'm thinkin' no Scrounger head required.
  12. I think the winner can choose any rod he wants.
  13. That looks like Southern ice, but we usually put them in a glass and marinate them in distilled brown water.
  14. What are you going to do for a reel if you win?
