  1. I think you will like the Pinnacle Perfecta. Although I don't have that particular rod, the two I have are "special".
  2. MERRY CHRISTMAS to you!
  3. If Eli Manning and his Giant's can win two Super Bowls against Tom Brady's Patriots, no one is out until the fat lady sings! If I was going to watch a reply of XLII, I would still bet on New England!
  4. I tried running ceramic bearing dry, but the noise drove me crazy! So, I had to add a drop of oil which might impact maximum performance, but not by much.
  5. If defense wins the big games, Seattle is the front runner, #1 in overall D, #12 in O. Denver has the #1 offense, but ranks near the bottom in defense. Tonight the Broncos face the Chargers.
  6. Yes. I believe clear are the lightest, then red, then green.
  7. What part of the lake are you fishing?
  8. 00 Mod put a group together that are going in March. I think they invited everyon on the Forum to come with them. If you are serious get in touch with Dwight, A-Jay or Jeff.
  9. So you really don't need anything for Christmas and your wife is at a loss for ideas. Why not set aside a litlle money and vacation time and dedicate both to joining us at Wilson Lake?
  10. Seems like a legitimate question to me. Here's a short response: 5" Senko & Fat Ika http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/13845-guaranteed-to-catch-bass/
  11. Was not intending to imply that at all. In line with other posts stating "location, location, location", I simply meant these destinations would meet that criteria. These three lakes provide a better "opportunity" for catching big bass than the lakes and rivers most of us fish.
  12. If you are fishing with spinning tackle you might need a thinner diameter. Yo-Zuri Hybrid is not a monofilament, but #4 & #6 behave pretty well. For baitcasters, I recommend Sunline Super Natural #12.
  13. I don't know why we don't hear more about Sugar Lake. Is it hard to get to?
  14. What are your top three suggestions for catching bigger bass? 1. Fish the lakes or rivers in your area that are know for better fish. 2. Get off the bank and find structure and/ or cover. 3. Slow down.
  15. Generally about the same, but you can put more line on if you like. I spool mine "full" which is around 10 yards below "sticky".
  16. The AVC66MF is responsive when working a lure, but forgiving when fighting a fish.
  17. I'm not sure I understand the question, but for T-rigs most guys use 3/0-5/0 EWG Offset Worm Hooks, or round bend. Some have gone back to straight shank.
  18. This is a dedicated combination I have had for more than 5 years: Avid AVC66MF/ Scorpion 1000 supertuned/ Sunline Super Natural #12

a.k.a. Gary, Professor, Kilmartin and "Hey You!"
  20. This is a light rigging that produces for me: Outside arms: LFT 3 1/2" Live Magic Shad on 4/0 EWG light wire hooks, no weights. Inside arm: Johnson Silver Minnow
  21. Quite an accomplishment to break a forty-three year old NFL record: http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2013/12/08/broncos-kicker-matt-prater-kicks-nfl-record-64-yard-field-goal-as-first-half/
  22. My dedicated jerkbait set up is the Avid AVC66MF/ Scorpion 1000 supertuned/ Sunline Super Natural #12. The description (MF) is a bit misleading, the tip is soft. This is not suited for jigs or soft plastics, but PERFECT for treble hooks, especially jerkbaits and topwater!
