For enthusiasts, technique specific gear is fun to collect. However, three rigs cover all the basics: #1 6 1/2' or 7' MH baitcaster for jigs, some soft plastics and spinnerbaits #2 6 1/2' or 7' MM baitcaster for treble hook lures #3 7' MF spinning rod for lighter lures and a variety of techniques

Start with your favorite color, it will probably be just fine.

Probably not, but we will have several couples that you might feel more comfortable staying with. If you have already visited the website you saw that the accomodations are cottages, seperate bedrooms and lots of space. The Roadtrip isn't like a fishing or hunting camp with a bunch of rednecks. It's much closer to a family reunion. I believe we had four women (wives) there last year. If you want some reference from a female perspective, send a PM to Keri.

My favorite pet bass was caught and kept by a guy I taught to fish at one of my local ponds. 10-4 which he claimed he mounted, but I know it went straight to the frying pan.
