#10 InvizX is a good fit for spinning tackle, but treat your line with KVD Line & Lure Conditioner and DO NOT overspool. For baitcasting gear I prefer #20 AbrazX.

I think it is the best line I have ever fished. I have two reels spooled up with Tatsu only and another 5 with Tatsu as leader. The length of the leader places the connecting knot 5" or 6" above the reel so that it never comes into play when casting.

We are always looking for something new, but our old spots hold fish regularly. They might not be there or in the mood when we hit the spot, but they will be there sometime during the day.

You now have more options and can cover more water. One option is to continue fishing shallow along the bank, but now you can move out if you like. I suggest starting your deeper water quest fishing main points and secondary points.

I just saw the photo this morning on Fox. There's nothing about that pic that looks legit. This could have been drawn for the cover of a magazine today just to celebrate the anniversery, but it looks more like an "Artist's interpretation" rather than an actual photograph.

Technique is a far better determinate. Most guys are going to use a different rig for jerkbaits for example. My basic "smallmouth rod" is also my weightless soft plastic rod, St. Croix LES70MF. For jerkbaits it's an AVC66MF; AVC70MM for medium weight crankbaits.

I sold my original to a friend and Alpster built me a new rod with the SR705R blank. The blanks also come in black, which is what I have. The custom build is split grip with spiral guides. He built this rod for me for free, but parts still came in around $200.
