When I'm fishing minnows on the river, two rods: one to fish and one back-up in case something goes wrong. If I'm fishing artificials, five or six rigged and ready, another five or six rigged, but stored.

Well, I have been fishing the Tennessee River for 13 years and have had a day like that! It's really hard for me to imagine fishing with that kind of production and consistency. Kudos to you Mr. Hottle! :respect-040:

Eyes make lures look cool, especially on jig heads. As far as "catching" goes, not important at all.

My favorite class is jerkbaits.

Mostly it's the rod or a balanced combination. I have Yo-Zuri #6 on a BCR 893/ Curado 50E.

12 lb Hybrid has a breaking strength of 19.5 lbs, but I was fishing #4 ~ 8.5 lb breaking strength. The knot did not fail, the weak spot caused by the burr failed.
