For "action" in a jig trailer, no other soft baits compare to Rage Tail: Baby Craw, Craw & Lobster. For more subtle action, GYCB Flappin' Hog is hard to beat. Net Bait Paca Craws are in the same class and I might own every size and color! The Sweet Beaver and Doublewide from Reaction Innovations is another. So, lot of choices, but my "favorite trailer for action" is one of Big O's craw series, hands down. 8-)

It was my pleasure to finally meet and fish with TN basstracker. Great guy and very knowledgeable fisherman. We have a lot in common, especially our time fishing Pickwick and the Tennessee River. This weekend was fun and in a month or so I hope to hook-up with him again and chase the brown fish! 8-)

I have not tried one yet, they just came out. To be fair, maybe...but probably not. This, I suspect, will be a high quality bait and superior to other knock-offs.

Spinning: AVS68MXF or SJR843S/ Stradic 2500 CI4/ Yo-Zuri Hybrid #6 or InvizX #8 Baitcasting: MBR842C/ Curado 50E7/ Hybrid #12 or AbrazX #12 8-)

Sort them by function: Topwater, jerkbait, lipless, shallow divers and deep divers. Throw away the junk, you will never use it. Don't give it away, throw it away. It's no "favor" to pass junk on to guys that don't know the difference. Test the lures in clear water. If needed, adjust them as best you can. Inspect them closely, many will need new split rings and hooks. 8-)

The GYCB Senko revolutionized bass fishing for many people, including me! The introduction of the Senko was magical, much like the original Lucky 13, Jitterbug, Rat-L-Trap, Creme Worm, Gitzit and Floating Rapala. I suspect the Senko has contributed to more tournament wins than any other bait over the past fifteen years. This would be especially true at the amateur level.

ghoti and I gave them a workout on Kentucky Lake a couple of months ago, T-rigged. VERY impressed. I also have used them for flipping on Pickwick...DYN-O-MITE! 8-)

I use 3/0 or 4/0 EWG Gamakatsu Offset Worm Hooks, thin wire. Rig the Fat Ika skirt forward, weightless and weedless. I fish it on spinning tackle, Yo-Zuri Hybrid #6. 8-)
