  1. Bass, for sure. Although bass often miss a frog, most likely, you are too quick. As bilgerat suggested, wait to set the hook until you feel the weight of the fish. 8-)

  11. I hate braid, but I have PP 50/12 on my jig rig! The result has been a dramatic improvement in sensitivity. I'm using a direct tie. 8-)

  17. A few years ago I caught a 75 lb AJ on the last day of the trip at about 8:00 AM. I didn't fish the rest of the day and have not fished saltwater since. Wuss? You bet! ;D ;D ;D ;D

  19. Hmm...Got me stumped. I have had great luck with all products from the very first time I fished them. The Lobster, Craw and Baby Craw have gotten me into a jig rut! Last weekend I broke out a bit and smacked 'em with the Thumper. This is the only thing I can think of, and please, don't be insulted: Many of the Rage Tail baits MUST be rigged precisely. Instructions are included in the packaging and on their website.
