  18. This might help: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1141187546 This is something to consider as you build your collection over time: Technique specific rods are for "enthusiasts". Almost all your fishing can be done with just one rod. Beyond that, you only "need" three rods: Spinning: 6 1/2' or 7', M or MH, Fast Action (soft plastics and light lures) Baitcasting: MH or H, Fast Action (jigs, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and all single hooks) Baitcasting: MH, Moderate Action (all treble hook lures)
  19. Norman Fat Boy (redear pattern) 8-)
  20. Pick your favorite color and please read FAQs before posting again. We have an extensive library: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1121527643 Good night Irene. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  21. The vast majority of my lures never get fished. "Super-realistic" is just more fun to collect! :
  22. How did this turn into a saltwater thread? I tie an Arbor knot to the spool with Hybrid, then use Alberto's Knot to join the backing to braid. I like at least 60 yards of braid so I have plenty of casting line and enough cushion to never feel the knot. 8-)
  23. Sharpen your blade or buy a new knife.
  24. I fish the Cavitrons exclusively. When the situation calls for a buzzbait, the only decison for me, "Is it Bobby's Cavitron or Big O's Shad?" ;D ;D ;D
