BPS stores
I do the exact same thing I go and find all the things I want and then go straight online and save some serious $$$. sometimes just for laughs say I get a new bag of soft plastics I’ll see how much it is at bps and it’s always a dollar or two more. But it’s great to see everything in person before ordering it. Some of their own brand stuff is decent and you can find for good price so sometimes I’ll get some of that.

Bag vs box soft plastics
Thanks for the idea I think that’s the way I’ll go I totally forgot about doing that and that seems perfect for keeping them organized but small enough to throw in a backpack.

Bag vs box soft plastics
Hey i was trying to decide whether I should switch to boxing soft plastics or keep them in bags. I fish from the shore most of the time and was just wondering what all you do. Thanks

Rod Balance and Sensitivity
If you haven’t finished the handle it king of depends on what you want it for. If your fishing with your rod tip down always with a certain combo it might be nice to have it a little tip heavy. All around I like it ballenced right where my pointer finger is because it makes it easier to hold the rod all day without getting soreness. But a lot of it is just personal preference.

Is exposing rods to the cold bad for them?
One of my friend broke an ice rod bc the eyelet froze over not allowing the line to move and so he went to reel it in and thought he had something on there he broke the tip off. But that’s probably just a fluke accident and he was using a super ul rod.

Whats the best top water lure for bass when its cold out ?
I wouldn’t throw a pocket frog because I rarely fish frogs off of weeds I prefer to go with something with treble hook because the hook up ratio is better and you probably won’t want to fish top water around shallow weeds in that cold of water. But like I said its not great conditions for any top water. If you really want to try it go for it and the worst thing that could happen is you find out for sure it doesn’t work. ?

Whats the best top water lure for bass when its cold out ?
I’m with the other guys I’d probably not throw below like 57 to 60 but if you really want to then probably like a silent spook or even a weightless fluke fished top water. Good luck and tight lines!

Whats the best top water lure for bass when its cold out ?
I would try something a little bit more silent because the bass are going to be more finicky in cold water.

Best pants for Ice Fishing
I wear like 3 layers of joggers and you can pick up like waterproof sweatpants that make the “swoosh” sound when u walk that you can wear on the outside and it’s a pretty inexpensive way to do it

Flipping with kastking speed demon
Thanks for replying, I know what u mean and I don’t have any over 7 oz either so that’s why I was wondering how much I would notice the weight difference

Flipping with kastking speed demon
I realize u guys r probably tired of all the castling stuff but do u think the kastking speed demon at 8.3 oz is too heavy for flipping. I want that on because it is9.3:1 and I also want to use it for frogs. Thanks for any feedback
