Both great brands, I like lews because of personal preference and they feel better to me. I don't believe either brand is significantly better than the other. You're gonna get different things from each.

There is a store near me that has a bunch of them and I was just wondering how hard these were to find. I've heard they are sold out everywhere so did I just get lucky and should I buy a bunch while they are still in stock? Thanks!

Taking a 10 pound bass really doesn't seem right. That is the fish of a lifetime and by releasing it you will give others the same opportunity to catch it. The fish will also go on to produce offspring with a greater probability of becoming a trophy. I mean this with all due respect, its up to you to take it if you want but just consider letting others have the same opportunity on the big girls. Tight Lines!

Don't know if this is any help but this is from just a little while ago.

My favorite would be a lucky craft flash minnow. For some reason that thing gets BIT when no other jerk baits will. The LC Pointer is second place.

Another vote for Bass Pro Carbonlite. One of my Tournament Pros is on a carbonlite and it is a sweet combo!

Tatula, Fuego, curado, curado k, curado DC, Scorpion, Abu Revo SX, Abu Revo S, Abu Revo X, Casitas, and a lot more but these are the ones that come right to my mind. I realize these aren't all in the same price range but I couldn't remember retail on all of them so I just included whatever I thought was somewhere close??? And a bunch of people are going to disagree with me but just my personal opinion is that the lews tournament is better than all of these. Thats really weird, I have never had that many problems with a lews reel.

I love them! I have fished with many different reels in that price range and have never found one I personally like better.

I don’t own one but I have used them and they are great reels. They feel very durable and smooth. I personally have a couple tournament pros and love them but for what you have mentioned a super duty might be the better option.
