You don't retrieve straight tailed flukes, you twitch them, let them sink, then twitch again, repeat till the rod get jerked out of your hands.

Don't both you and your son use the same baits? Do you make him furnish his own tackle bag? My co anglers seem to have enough space under the console and seat. Tackle bags sometimes get strapped to the rear seat post.

I had trouble getting my temp to work also, had to remove and reselect the source twice but it finally started working again. I think the update is just a 2d overlay on the downscan screen, not sure it would be a patent-able.

They have already ruined War Eagle spinnerbait, changed skirt colors and eliminated the wire tied skirts. War Eagles were always disposable baits anyway, a couple of good fish and you'd better get another one tied on before it breaks and you lose a good one. Guess I'll buy my baits from a custom guy from now one. One shop locally has received the last good War Eagles they are getting in.

Every time I've had weights stick on a Megabass they sink like rocks tail first, floaters and suspenders both.

I refuse to try a reel above a Chronarch or Stradic, probably can't afford too.

Both your hook ups and your hang ups increase with the hook down.

In highland reservoirs like Table Rock and Bull Shoal if I'm fishing suspended fish they are normally related to the thermocline. Fish and bait will congregate at that depth.

I use a Shimano 100b w/upgraded bearing and a light Japanese spool to cast 1/16 Ned Rigs. Recently got my hands on a Chronarch 50MG I'm gonna try next. You'll have a harder time pairng it with a rod that works, than finding a reel that works.
