If KVD never lost any tourney ,,he has ever fished in the last 20 yrs then id be just a little worried.mostly on a big lake with a boat pushing 250 hp and 10 gran in electronics then id sweat a little.

J franco is right cast aluminum is easy to make ,extruded and forged a whole diff game.i dont really prefer graphite but it does come in handy saltwater cant hurt graphite.i have a couple round abus with graphite frames,no problems with them .BTW if you look on youtube you will see even 800$ spinning reels with aluminum will still break.its all about using your drag the proper way for what its intended for.Just cause you have 40 lbs of drag dont mean you need to use it.

I carry a flambue quick draw.it holds 3 3600 size boxes and lots of room for other things.i use mine on my yak and shore and it isnt heavy or awkward by any means.it has a hand strap and a shoulder strap.

Yall gotta try fishing blind ,about 2 minutes into fishing a jig or t rig you can actually see what you feel in your mind.its a reality check

Thats my point his feel good spots are running and gunning.none of us can do that as well as he does it.For him thats his advantage.but it all stops there unless he finds a sweet spot he has to travel its in his mind set.i can stay on a pond and if its a competition i can catch every bass at each pond for 5 days and have my limit all the while he will HAVE too do it 20.its in his blood

I think most reels feel good out of box and many cheap ones from the old days still roll on today.that being said todays cheap reels reely are cheap.and parts availibility is monthly .i have all abu round reels some over 45 yrs old that work perfect and parts if i need them are a click away.thats my cliche

Ill even do one better.we both fish for a month he does his thing traveling the country.i do mine we see who catches the most bass plus lunker and weight total for 1 month.this is the kicker i have 20 farm ponds within 20 minutes of each other i can fish all day and night.he can too BUT he may have to drive a day to limit out to keep up.truth is he does have unlimited resources to FISH but catching fish is what separates all the variables,he does what he is best at and i do what im best at.he will have to rest i wont

15Lb yo zuri works best on BC and with 1/2 oz or more baits i have no issues with it slinging spooks and 3/4 oz traps.Anything above 8 in HZH is for BC imo 4 and 6 are perfect line for any technique with spinning reels.

Walkin the banks odds are even..run and gun fishing does require a diff mindset and i know without a dought id get whipped.truth is even if it was Larry nixon or kvd.they still put there pants on one leg at a time.and bass have a brain the size of a pea .now if KVD or Larry can get a bass to put pants on while in the livewell id be sorta worried then.

Just getting 4 brand new 4600s here 2 c4s 2 c3s and a 7ft uglystik catfish rod i can get the abus from garcia for 70$ each they are all the ones with the THUMB screws on the handle side .i dont know why they changed them anyhow

That was my point ,,farm pond small bodies of water i will say this though in 1000 acre lake or bodie of water with his 250hp boat and electronics he would whip me when im on my yak ,then again i may dissect a 1/4 mile stretch and beat him may be all i need ,,BTW we talkin a 5 slot limit or no limits or biggest bass in 1hr or 6. So many variables.or you saying put him on shore and im on his boat????

He can use anything he wants ..ill choose a farm pond.im pretty sure i can take him their and ill even say i can take him on anything less then 100 acres .with no excess to a boat ramp.He needs a boat and electronics i dont.enough said, i respect him and all the big names but i can take um.

Wow im certified in a lot of things i can run any piece of equipment registered with the DOA,ran a drill rig 3 yrs,hammer and nail,im a school bus driver now 18 yrs i could do it free if i didnt depend on it for my livilyhood.btw when asked how can you drive a bus i say im "certified" (short pause) crazy

Been married twice all younger then me .like 10 and 15 yrs younger.i dont know it all but i have learned the silent treatment and being distant lets them realize im the perfect hubby.

Triple check and do a finger feel seeing is believing but always check that the coupler is around bottom of ball and lift ..if you can move vehicle your still only 99% safe

I have some older ones prob 8yrs old still ok they were in a shed at one time in summer it got 125 degrees in there for about a week no probs

Seems to get loops in the line and that makes loops on your spool slack line and spinning reels dont mix well
