  2. I have the 2500 and 3000 models. Only thing I did was add a washer. I am very satisfied with the reels, especially for $74.99 at Sportsmans Outfitters.

I got a Field and Stream wader bag to do this, I can fit my boots in it too. I got it for like $20. Wader Bag
  4. I will report out. It looks pretty simple. The bottom rear bar looks like it could be uncomfortable. I’ve seen guys fix that with pipe insulation. I’ll assess that when I use it in about a week. Got it set up. I’m excited to get out and use it. Very happy so far.
  5. Fantastic! Exactly. But multiple. Rods on each side.
  6. I debated that boat, just too big for me to haul around etc. I am 5'8" 150 soaking wet.
  7. Will do! I will be setting it up and taking on maiden voyage the weekend after this coming weekend. Why are you selling Hobie?
  8. Arrived, unpacked for inspection. Perfect!
  9. That should work...for lighter swimbaits. Warning: once you start down this path, there is no turning back.
  10. My delivery is scheduled for today between 9 AM and 1 PM. Need to unwrap and inspect when it arrives. I will post up pics today, hopefully. Very happy with the process so far.
  11. I think for a 120, you could use a frog rod rated up to 2 ounces I would think. Anything larger, you should get a dedicated rod. I ended up with the Daiwa DX heavy.
  12. I was thinking slide out rod racks. Slides on top and bottom. I am hoping to store up to 8’ rods, closer to 7’6”. I currently have about 20 rods.
  13. I work for an aerospace company. We get many sizes of brand new pallets daily. A guy that works there, breaks down all pallets for exercise. He will get me the best wood and whatever I need. One person at work did their entire garage floor in 4x4s. Another guy built a shed, another a garage shop bench. All sizes of pallets.
  14. I have considered the Ganteral, especially when on sale, like now.
  15. I really like the 6th Sense Speed Glide 100 and IMA Fluke Glide Bait 125 and just got the S-Waver 120. S-Waver 168 is fantastic too. These are the 3 baits I used the most and have had the most success.
  16. I own the Fury 704C, seems like that rod is similar to the Tatula 7’1” MHxF. I love my Tatula rods, that’s why I was thinking about getting the 7’1”. Thanks for the reply!
  17. How do you like the 7'1" MHxF? I have the 6'10" MH and really like it. Does 3 inches and a faster tip make that much difference?
  18. I have access to excellent pallet material and want to build a rod locker for my garage. I am looking for instructions or ideas. I would love to have slide out rod holders, like slide out cabinets in the kitchen...Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

  20. The Daiwa Fuego LT is a nice reel in the price range you are considering. Sportsmansoutfitters has them for $74.99.
  21. 6’10” M SLX, SLX reel - jerkbaits (hard and soft) 6’10” MH Tatula, Tatula SV TW - spinnerbaits, swimbaits, multi-purpose 7’ M/glass Tatula, Tatula 150 - crankbaits 7’3” MH Cronos, Tatula 100 - texas rigs 7’2” H Exage, Citica - jigs
  22. All good choices, Fuego CT and Tatula XT would be my choice.
  23. I am thinking these might work pretty good for trolling? The new larger sized Shad Dancer, Rapala Black Friday.
  24. I purchased my Jackson Cruise 10 Angler from a local dealer for 30% off. Prior year model, brand new $699.
  25. Just mono, I used to use Maxima Chameleon. Now I use Yo-zuri Hybrid for 8 lbs to 14 lbs and Sufix Siege for under 8. 20 or more: Berkley Big Game
