I remember having so much fun hunting with a Sheridan Blue Streak .20 cal back in the day. Thing was rugged and very accurate.

While Bemidji was my main 'fishing hole' when I lived up there...I have fished Beltrami, Turtle, Little Bass and Big Bass on several occasions. Part of my open water SCUBA training was in Big Bass. Some days, I miss living up there.

Hang around the street corners trying to sell some too?

Reason I'm subscribed to 'Matt Johnson Outdoors' on YouTube. One of his regular lakes is Minnetonka. The Feiderman has also put out vids through various sites where he fishes 'Tonka...it is his declared home lake.

Where-as I've been a 'computer geek' for over 50 years. I may not have the latest-and-greatest, but I can still work it all.

Star Brite products are solid. Being as most of the hull of my F-9 is unpainted - I use their Aluminum Cleaner to keep it looking good.

Since I'm still pants at skipping with casting gear, I have a MH/F spinning rig to skip heavier lures like jigs with...though it has a 2500 reel on it with 20# braid.

When I rebuilt the F-9, I used LED hull mounted for the bow instead of the dome style. Several people, including a DNR EO commented that it 'looked cool' - and the DNR EO even mentioned that 'Yes, we know that they're valid and legal'.

My spinner/chatter rig is a 7'0" MH/MF with 15#FC - not quite as much 'give' as a full Mod, but enough backbone to set the heavier hooks and enough action to keep them pinned.

Long as it wasn't a 3-hour tour. Myself - I could probably go two seasons Will I? Probably not.

On a fast rod, definitely. And don't assume that 'new out of the package' hooks are sharp...I've come across dull ones.
