Double line through hook eye knots
The 'Monofile 2-5 Windungen' translates to 'Monofillament 2-5 winds' - 2-5 wraps for mono/FC 'Multifile 8-12 Windungen' translates to 'Multifillament 8-12 winds' - 8-12 wraps for braid Personally, I do 4-5 wraps for mono/FC and 9-10 wraps for braid - diameter doesn't seem to matter. For attaching leaders - it's the Alberto for me...backing to mainline, it's a double-Uni

Double line through hook eye knots
My doubled line terminal knot for all lines is the MK - fewer wraps for mono and FC, more wraps for braid.

Air Brush & Best Paints For Lure Making
Any paint you can shoot should be fine. Any decent topcoat would also work.

Prayers and thoughts needed.
Great news, pal. Best of luck to them in the tourneys.

Are Dobyns rods still good?
Ya - maybe 3/16-1/2 oz shakey, jika or free-rig....I run those on my St Croix 7'1" M/F

Air Brush & Best Paints For Lure Making
I have two Masters and a Neoeco that are all pretty good airbrushes Master - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002KJDXHQ?th=1 Neoeco - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BW5MFYV5?th=1 Both are $40 brushes, but come with three different needle/nozzle sizes. My compressor is also from Amazon - very good, very quiet...$86 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VT2F5N9 For paints - Createx is probably the best I've used - but I've also used the $2 bottles of craft-acrylics from Micheals with success - just thin them well.

Spinning Gear For Bass
When I lived in MA, I'd surf-fish for stripers on Cape Cod with my old Mitchell 320...just putting heavier line on than used for freshwater. caught a few that pushed 20#. Spinning gear, when properly sized, is just fine for almost anything.

HEAT WAVE: How do bass react to a changing temperature gradient within the water column?
A lot of it depends on circulation. On a pond or even just a shore that's mostly protected from wind, which causes waves, which mix the first couple feet of water - you might have a fairly decent difference in temps between the open water and that under a dock/overhanging tree/etc.

Fishing in very warm weather?
Also don't forget that water doesn't heat up evenly. The readings you're taking are at the surface while temps at 5', 10' or lower will be less...sometimes upwards of 5-10 or more degrees lower than what your graph is showing you. Deeper basins it might still be only 50-55 at the bottom while the surface is showing 80-85

You want thirsty - my high-school car was a 1973 Plymouth Cuda...muscle car that got 8mpg on a good day. Filling the tank at $1.39 a gallon when I only made $2.75 an hour part-time was a bear...this was during the gas crunch of the mid 70s.

Fishing in very warm weather?
Having had chemo and immunotherapy, I'm in the same boat. Currently I'm in a holding pattern - regular CT/PET/MRI scans to make sure things aren't taking off again - but the treatments i went through did do a number on my ability to withstand heat.

Fishing in very warm weather?
Wish I could do that - but with a disabled wife, I need to get her breakfast (she usually wakes about 8am) and do some other things before I can be 'set free'. So 10:00-10:30 would be my earliest time to get out...and this week that's too late to avoid the heat.

Fishing in very warm weather?
More like an Amazon rainforest...bloody hot and humid every day....storms passing through at intervals. Even running errands is a 'walk on the wild side'.

coffee making at home.
My main is a $25 Black & Decker...I do have a more expensive French Press for the occasional power-shots.

Best Braid Scissors?
Cudas are all I use - tossed my other fishing scissors. Sometimes Amazon has a special on them...got my 3 pair for $3.99 each.

Make tungsten weights?
And to make it less brittle - 100% tungsten would shatter with sufficient impact...like slamming it into a rock.

Drop Shot Help
Either this or the Gamakatsu Swivel Shot.... Don't listen to the nay-sayer....he just doesn't have any patience for true finesse fishing.

Senko Rod/Reel Light Weight Shaky Head Rig
Stradic is part of the 'power' line-up from Shimano. For this I'd use one of the 'finesse' reels - either a Miravel or a Vanford.
