yea i just read an article on their website that said their gonna take the best guy they can get regardless of needs or position...i heard some talk that they could get adrian peterson and trade portis for someone they need but that wasnt from their site and probobly wont happen(at least i hope it doesnt)

after seeing how successful the whole baseball post is up in the stickies i thought that a football topic might do well too and i figure what better time than the week before the draft...i know i sure am curious to see how the draft is gonna play out with just about everyone on tv saying somthing different from the last guy..im a redskins fan and im concerned because we have the 6th pic overall and that it until like the 4th roundand we dont need anyone huge but might make a bad choice and do it what do yall think??

i am currently in the procces of transplanting bass inbetween two PRIVATE pond that i have promision to do.the ponds are about 1-2 minutes away if you drive down the road (maybe 1/2 to 2/4 of a mile)the pond i am getting them from is healthy and is schedualled to be filled in to build a shopping center overtop of it in the next 1 to 2 years and the pond i am mtaking them two is my grandfathers that is full of blue gill and has some crappie and cats.we tryed stocking it last year with bass, minnows, and hybrids but do not know how many survives because of all the birds around it.it once had a good population of bass but a flood several years ago killed enough of them off that they eventually died off.we are sure no more bass live in it after that because we fish it reguarly and only get the gills P.S. while driving them to the new pond we take them one by one in a bucket with water from the pond and do this immediatly once they are off the hook

let me say one thing.if i ever catch a fish that is 10 pounds i may very well be in the record books.state record for delaware is 10.5 pounds .while there are ponds round here certianly capable of a fish that size they are public ponds with overwhelming pressure.i fish small private ponds one being 5-10 acres and having fish that iv herd stories of being upwards of 8-9 and the nerest public pond is much much larger so i wouldnt doubt there is a record but it will never be caught without a ton of luck and skill(both are sumthing i need a little more of) ;D

its very rare that we kill the snakes only done it a few times,if they swim/slither away an leave us alone no troubles but once they start actin squirly or like there gonna try to bite then they are in trouble P.S. trust me i dont want to hurt them unless i think their gonna hurt me

i think its a northern water snake also hey Bud if it were me id go with a twelve gauge shotgun and a deer slug.really does a number on the snakes round here

as of yesterday we think we have a few bass starting to spwan.however we dont think the water is warm enough yet.ive heard that it needs to be 60 degrees but the water cant be that warm.ive also heard that the ocean will be colder than the pond will which makes sence and it is only 50 out there now but was wondering if there is a website that can give me information on this.or if anyone in my general area knows what is going on right thanks,logan

i was always told that with any lure a fish(especially a bass will hit it in the head or front so that if it was a real fish it would kill it faster and the blades are more toward the rear of the bait so i guess this makes sense,,,but i have been running a spinner class tot eh surface before and seen it jumo about a foot to either side witch i belive is a bass hitting the blades,i guess it all depends on were the fish is when it sees the lure and decides to eat it

whats new? the o's in second place in the AL east. i dont know if i can remember the last time that ever happened!!!! ;D anyone think they got a shot this year against teams like the yankees and the red sox?

about 2 years ago on the 4th of july me and my family were at our condo by the beach.we went down to the beach t watch one of several fireowrks displays but found out that we couldnt see it all to welll.well for this reason us and the rest of the hundreds of people on the beach brought our own fireworks to shoot off.a man to our left was with his life when he approached us and asked if we had any, we said yes and he said so do i.the then reached for a brown paper bag and showed us what was inside.it must have been the fireworks equivelent of a young childs holoween bag.filled top he top with all sorts of assorted goodies and told us he chose us because his daughter was at a party and because i was a kid he thought i would like it.he reached in an grabbed one an said we are goona like all these by the end of the night. to tell you the truth he seemed almost like a young child as excited as he was about it(or almost seemed drunk but wasnt).and we procceded to luacnhed them off one by one none of them looked like anything i had ever seen.one of them got caught by the wind and flew right at the building we were next to and swerved over to were the road was and went off ( no harm done about 2 others did the same thing) not to menchion he told me to hold one and lite it off.it scared the crap out of me but shot up and light up while spinning like the rotors of a helicopter and landed within a few feet of me,,,all in all it was a fun night an i guess i remember him because he was so nice and because of the commical comments he made,not to menchion that i thoguht several of his fireworks would kill me by the end of the night ;D

well this just sucks...i recently got a BPS gift card and was about to use it in the next few days and now this. i guess i will just have to give it a try an ....well if it doesnt go well...then and and i almost forgot

yea i have 2 of them two i compared them with the ct croix rods and they were identicle..also they have the exact same specifications as far as line an lure weight and fell the same,,,,BTW awsome rods

i agree with cravin.you guys run an excellent site here.before i became a member i was trying to think of all the bass websites i had ever been on the internet(witch was alot!!) so i could join them and get tips and become a better angler and this was the only place i could tthink of....great articles......great forums....great people!!!! ;D

OMG! What a game! Yanks come back from 6-2 in the ninth with 2 outs and win the game 8-6 off A-Rod's 10th (yes 10) homer and 26th RBIs. Glad I stayed until the end. Like Yogi said, "It ain't over until it's over." being an Orioles fan i will rarely ever admit to this but yes that was a great finish. i didnt watch the game but when i saw the highlites i was thouroghly amazed

i will try to make this my last post in this tread but the bad thing about change isnt just money for us and all the other "developed' nations.the problem is the so called"third world" nations like those in Africa.some of these nations are places that until now were just starting to get a foothold in modern technology and making life safer and easier for themselves to live by getting out of "poverty".but by changing all this these people may be driving back into "poverty" once more by not being allowed to use their new technology an forced to do without ....again

the reason so many scients jump on the "global warming bandwagon is because if they dont they are out of a job.for instance a scientist can go to the government or a maor corperation and say give me 2 million dollars to go test this theory, they then make a ton of easy money.also i believe this was already said but its a political scare tactic.a politicion can scare people into believeing he/her can solve a major "made up" problem and get votes to be in a office.again co2 is only a minute amount of the 'GREEN HOUSE GASES" most of witch is water vapor.if the global warmin was real(caused by us) then high up in the atm osspere the temperature would rise along witht he surface temperature but it isnt..lastely my science teacher recently told us how the sun goes through hoter and just normal hot phase.well....surprise surprise we are currently in the hotter phase of the sun....problem solved

personally i dont believe it,,,,yes the earth is warmin ,,,no humans didnt cause it.i believe it is natureal and will not have any devistating effects,but if it is true im not gonna go and get worried about it an live in fear,,,i believe that you should enjoy life an not worry bout every little thing that seems to be a problem when you arent sure yet

not exactly the same situation but one of the good ponds i fish will only be here for one more year.the owner sold it to a company who is gonna build a shopping center right over top of it...behinf it there is another that isnt as good for fishing that willl have the same fate.i swear y the time i am older there wont be any ponds or woods left around here do to over developing > :'(
