  1. Neither will make a difference, if you like split grip then use split grip. If you plan on using a leader than go with standard guides.
  2. It ends in 2 days, if you're throwing frogs and jigs then the 735 will be your best bet.
  3. Sierra 735. On sale for $120 at tackle warehouse for the price of the Fury.
  4. It's a better rod, but it's to you to decide if it's worth the hassle and money.
  5. I mean if you really want that Sierra you can probably cancel your order from ALF, btw you can buy a gift card at tacklewarehouse for 10% off then buy the rod with the gift card.
  6. X2 I have my Sierra paired with a Chronarch, and it's a lovely combo!
  7. Fury for $80 is still a great deal!
  8. I'd get the Dibyns Sierra 704 on tackle warehouse right now, they are on sale for the same price as the fury and are much better. The sale ends in 3 days so I'd hurry if I were you. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-DOBROD.html?from=basres
  9. Post a pic if you get that one, sounds beautiful!
  10. Surf casters usually have heavy line and long leaders, that's why they never use micro guides.
  11. I've been playing with them for a bit now, its interesting. The Curado K performed best with a tighter spool tension, but the Chronarch performed best with a much looser spool tension. It's interesting because they are both SvS infinity braking systems, yet they are set up so differently.
  12. Wish I saw this thread before I placed a Cabelas order, I actually had a LC squarebill in my cart but took it out because the gift card only had so much on it.
  13. Any tips for Brittle? Fished it once or twice with no success.
  14. Hey guys, I've been wanting to catch a snake for a while now with no luck, do you guys have any recommendations and spots in the Manassas area? I dont have a boat but so I'm stuck on the shore. Any help is appreciated!
  15. Personally I'd wait for the next 20% off sale on Ebay and get the Curado DC.
  16. My cabelas order came in, 5 packs of SK swim n shiners 2 packs of SK rodents 1 pack missile baits baby d bombs 2 packs of brush hogs 2 river2sea spinnerbaits 6th sense quake thud 70 6th sense crush 100x 2 packs of VMC 4/0 hooks. Guess the bait monkey got his revenge for my abstinence during Black Friday.
  17. Correct, if you sign up for there newsletter you also get an additional 15% off.
  18. Love em! Caught my PB on one in August!
  19. A Metanium for $275 is unbelievable! If money is not an issue I'd definetly save up for a little longer and get that. My Chronarch G is in another class from my K, and it's not even the MGl version.
  20. The Tatula excels at lighter baits and skipping, the Curado will cast farther with heavier baits, but will begin to struggle under 1/4 oz. I love my Curado, its built like a tank and is quite smooth. What rod are you planning on pairing this reel with?
