  1. I have a 08 ranger and the side carpet buncks boots are all broken away from the fiberglass. There appears to only have been a small amount of fiberglass lip there to bolt to. Any ideas on how to attach the bunk back to the trailer?
  2. Thoughts on 16lb system leader for bottom contact baits? I see the 16lb is almost the same diameter as the 10lb maxima ultra green.
  3. I have a three of the new $350 envy black 2s that I think are nice.
  4. Using smackdown helps due to its small size
  5. Looking at using g finesse hooks. What hook would you replace the stock freedom hook with for a rage craw trailer?fishing coontail grass not much timber https://www.gamakatsu.com/g-finesse/ https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Freedom_Tackle_Jared_Lintner_Custom_Stealth_Swim_Jig/descpage-FREEJLC.html Flipping or hybrid and size? 3/0,4/0,5/ I'm guessing with the screw lock a hybrid or ewg hook isn't needed? Any other hook recommendations are appreciated
  6. 30 or 40lb stealth gray seaguar smackdown. You can tie anywhere from a 10lb leader to no leader at all. Personally the 40lb is much eaiser to pick out a backlash in the event it happens. 30lb smackdown is thin!
  7. Looking to pick up some screw lock or similar jigs to fish coontail and alge for early August. I can't find any 3/8. Can anybody find them or something similar?
  8. I'm fishing a lake packed with coontail and alge that big up even the tips of swimbait heads as you pull through the holes. What's the best swimbait presentation/ hook? Small swimbait head with a screw lock?
  9. I've been toying with acquiring an nrx for senkos and light jigs for a while. I've never had the patience to throw a jig before due to the slow nature and having never had a good jig bite. Thankfully on my first cast with a 5/16 jig and a trimmed rage craw one smoked it. I've been absolutely blown away with this rod. How did I not know how fun setting a jig hook could be??? For those looking for a reel pairing I tried my aldabarn and metanium mgl. They just didn't feel right. The bantam mgl pairs beautify and actually fishes lighter than the others. Bottom line. If you can get one and you need to gain confidence in bottom contact this nrx 893c is the business. Yes, I'm about ten + years late to the party.
  10. On vacation In fairly remote Canada. I ran my oil tank low and after filling I had to fill my remote tank. I then proceeded to drop the cap in the lake. Anybody know what size it is or a way to rig it up short term?
  11. My gawd Megabass vision 110s, ito shiners, Kanatas with st36 hooks
  12. I recently converted my Ultrex I-Pilot to a link system. In order to network both the console and bow units I have to put in a 5 port hub. The problem is i have a fishing trip this weekend and I'm unable to run the 12V to the hub the proper way in the amount of time I have available. The hub itself came with a adapter that converter the black and red wires to a usb cable. It also came with a usb to cig lighter usb converter. According to minn kota the hub uses very little power. 165 ma or .165Ah. The question i have is can I just plug the usb cord into a battery pack that I use for charging cell phones and go pros? The battery pack I have says it puts out DC12 1.5A? This would get me through the weekend until I could wire it properly
  13. If you want a light reel for a lighter rod the chronarch mgl or for a longer/heavier rod the bantam mgl
  14. Lipless crank. It's bad, SMH
  15. Does anybody know where I can get it locally. I'd like to use my new rod on a fishing vacation at the end of the week but I think I should apply the sealer before using it.
  16. I agree, for pitches and flipping without a lot of momentum that knot can catch
  17. Ive used both 30lb and 40lb smackdown from anywhere from 8lb to 17lb floruro leader without issue.
  18. It does!? I've considered a Bantam but have been concerned due to loving the met mgls and aldabarans. If it really feels as light because of balance I will go Bantam. I've heard so many great things about that reel.
