  1. I read all of that, assuming you was getting to a point..... Lol
  2. Maybe, but I'm watching the weather to see what the bass do. Each of em has their strong points. St.Johns is one of my absolute favorite fisheries.
  3. I fish a muddy river pretty often, and let's just say black crankbaits get throwed quite regularly. Also change skirts on my War Eagles to Black. Dont be afraid to throw black.
  4. You picked already?! Theres still 29 days left!!
  5. I'm in, going to be strong on the Fla boy picks in Event 1 Does Clunn have it in him to pull off another one???
  6. Didnt see you had already went ??
  7. Trust me I dont want to. But I've been fishing alot more clearer waters here lately so I need to step up my game lol
  8. 6th sense Squarebills. All the way. I used to be diehard SK guy, but hooks and durability of 6th sense has sold me. Stack your box up with those and probably a couple Rapala DT-series, DT-6 and DT-10. Should cover most all your cranking needs unless you fish some really deep water.
  9. Still talking about dink city tournaments? Hahaha
  10. I just wacky rigged for the first time today. I caught some Bass with T-rig weightless senko, so im like, "BassResource says wacky catches more fish." Well I hooked em but they kept getting off? I was using some little goober 2/0 hook on a medium/light 5'6 spinning combo. Just couldn't get em to the Bank. I was trying to set the hook decently, alot less then my normal hookset
  11. I too have them but they've been dedicated trailers. I've never caught anything on them when fishing them on there own? Maybe I just need to chunk em more, idk. I don't get bit quick I go to something that will
  12. I have a weedy pond on my home from work as well, flukes and senkos are about the only successful things I've found to fish
  13. Really like that statement. I love the articles that come out like after tournaments, "top ten lures for lake such an such". The pros have their niche. They know what they're good at, and they exploit it. Sometimes the lakes cooperate, sometimes not. In my opinion which ain't much, in order to be a better angler learn what your best at and get better. Better to be great at one or two techniques, then sub-par at many. Anyways just thoughts, rambling on
  14. Does the FWC offer any reason for all this?
  15. Oh yeah you can catch em from the bank, a boat makes targeting them easier though
  16. @Glaucusive watched kickin their Bass some, his personality is kinda uh.. loud. Reminds me of flair. He does fish the Savannah river a good bit, along with alot of private ponds.
  17. @CrankFate I politely disagree my friend. Certain circumstances can dictate things in life. ?
  18. I've fished Kissimmee growing up. Sad to see. I guess I understand their logic, to kill certain species, but to be reckless and not care, is another thing.
  19. @Junger around Darien, Ga where the Altamaha spills out into the Atlantic, there's a magical time of year when the shrimp start running up the mouths of the rivers. Reds will chase them, and you'll catch Reds and LMB on the tides. So much fun. Everybody needs to experience that at least once in life. Your absolutely right, catching a mean red on 7' MH/F on topwater is ?
  20. Already been 100°-105° this week. So hard to fish while the sun's up. Gar? Don't get me started. I'm ready to take up bowfishing to start getting tackle back.
  21. It was definitely a huge learning curve going from lakes to rivers. When he sold his boat, it went with all his tackle from 40yrs of fishing. I was bummed but I didn't know where to fish either till some friends showed me where to go, then I showed him.
