I have the president 6530, rtx 30, stratus 25 and sienna 2500. My favorite would be the rtx, followed by the president. The stratus is a nice reel but it just feels cheap. It's on sale right now at DSG for $29.99.

I can vouch for that seller. My Fuego CT just came in. The free pouch is too small for the reel. Probably meant for a Lews! On topic, if you have smaller hands or prefer smaller profile, get Lews. Otherwise, Fuego CT all the way.

I have almost all the colors of the one knocker, favorite color is the bone. I also use the bone with silver side and red head. I use them primary for topwater striper. Over the pass 2 years I have had a few that broke on me. The inner wall that keeps the weight in the tail would shatter and the weight would freely move inside the lure. This would cause the lure's action and noise to change dramatically. I sent 6 broken lures to Heddon and got them replaced.

I used to own some black max and silver max. The silvermax didn't warrant the price increase, get the bm. For rod, get yourself the new berkley lightning rod ($40 at DSG). If shopping online, get yourself a fuego ct ($65 ebay with 10% off code) and Fuego rod ($45 ebay).

I don't have the crush but I do have the Mach 2. I paid $140 for the combo. The rod is im8 and feels fine. Not very sensitive. The reel feels cheap. IMO, get yourself a casitas or fuego ct off ebay and pick a good $100 rod.

I had revo4 in x and sx, both were decent reels. They weren't noisy at all but the sx tends to backlash randomly.

Just in the past 3 weeks, I've sold 3 lews speed spool, 3 lews lfs speed spool, 2 abu garcia revo4 and replaced them all with the fuego ct.

Maybe Rapala's quality have gone downhill. I have a few of the ripstop that have broken tails. I have original floaters from 20 years ago that still works fine.

Lews ( I have ss1hl, ssg1hl, tournament mb, and mach II)

They work. I have Lews LFS and SLP. Still prefer the MB over them.

I use 6.3 to 7.1 for topwater lures like sammy, spook, gunfish, etc.. not the real big ones (over 1 oz lures). My rod is a 7' med with mod fast tip, 30 lb braid.

No bass but a striper took my 8 ft rod that wasn't secured well enough.
